Hi, I am using this instruction for dripping:
I set each leason as a different membership level and set the auto upgrade.
The problem is that when acount is been upgrade to the new membership level(=new lesson) the previous level(lesson) is not accessble any more.
any suggestions?
November 25, 2013 at 10:04 pm #59189adminKeymasterYou have complete control over each membership level’s protection settings. So lets say you have two levels called “Silver” and “Gold”. Now, the gold level can give access to everything the silver level does plus more. This way when you change a user’s level to a higher one, he/she will have access to previous level’s content.
Alternatively, you can use the secondary membership level feature in eMember which allows you to stack the membership levels.
If you want the membership levels to stack (meaning when a member gets put to a new level then the old level should still be attached to that user’s profile) then go to eMember settings and enable the secondary membership level feature. Read the help text for it which will explain what it does.

the secondary membership level feature is enable from start.
do i have to check this option as well?
When a member’s primary level expires, automatically set one of the non-expired secondary level as his primary level.
still not working
any other suggestions?
November 26, 2013 at 11:05 pm #59191adminKeymasterWhen you edit a member’s profile (after their account has been upgraded), what levels do you see in that profile? Does he have the old level as the secondary level and the new one as the main level?
November 27, 2013 at 7:39 am #59192ashlagerMemberhi, If I check into memebers admin area, lower levels are marked:

November 27, 2013 at 10:37 pm #59193adminKeymasterOkay that looks like a content protection setup issue. The upgrade stuff is working as it should.
Please check the following post to see what mistakes you have made in your content protection setup:

I read this post.
What I did is i went into: Membership level > manage content protection > pages >

for lesson 3
I choose lesson 3 ML and after
I grant access to 1+2..
It works. Is this the way to do it ?
