Just installed OptimizePress 2.0 and as it turns out eMember is somehow interfering with the LiveEditor feature of OptimizePress 2.0. I clearly understand that you do not support other plugins, I would never ask for that… but as it seems there is clearly some interference going on with eMember:
If eMember is activated I cannot edit single elements in OP2 (it should open an editor in a lightbox to edit it, and this does not open).
When I click on such an edit button, the console generates this entry:
Uncaught TypeError: Cannot call method ‘outerWidth’ of undefined dialog.js?ver=2011-10-05:321
show_slide dialog.js?ver=2011-10-05:321

Any idea what part of eMember could be interfering?
estore and the affiliate plugin do no harm at all and work so far great.
August 1, 2013 at 12:42 pm #56908sailor33MemberI use the latest version of eMember Version v8.7.0 and have uninstalled and reinstalled it, checked file permissions and I even reinstalled Optimize-Press 2.0.
Is that the bad guy?

Any hint would be very helpful.
August 1, 2013 at 10:30 pm #56909adminKeymasterYep, that Javascript error would be causing the issue. Can you please post a URL to the page in question so I can view it in my browser?
August 5, 2013 at 3:47 pm #56910sailor33MemberIt’s only in the admin area visible. How can I send you login credentials?
August 5, 2013 at 5:24 pm #56911sailor33MemberJust sent a support message with the details.
August 6, 2013 at 7:14 am #56912adminKeymasterI have just done the following password reset page configuration on your site and that fixed it.
1. Create a new WordPress page (You can give it any name you want)
2. Place the [wp_eMember_password_reset] shortcode in that page.
3. Now specify the URL of that page in the “Password Reset Page” field of eMember settings.
Check your site now.
August 6, 2013 at 4:45 pm #56913sailor33MemberThank you. This seems to do the trick!
Why is that fixing a coding error? Does it load some additional resources?
August 6, 2013 at 11:41 pm #56914adminKeymasterThe default password reset feature loads in an overlay window which requires some extra JavaScript code. That code is conflicting with optimizepress because in their special editor window, they are not loading everything like WordPress does.
August 9, 2013 at 5:18 pm #56915mlmalphaMemberHi admin, I also have an eMember and OP 2 installed in my site. And the OP2 editor is not loading. What can I do to fix it?
August 10, 2013 at 1:00 am #56916adminKeymasterLooks like the optimizepress2 version has introduced a few errors.
Have you found the JavaScript error that is causing it? This post will help you find the error in that pageJ:

Let me know what error you see. BTW, did you try the above mentioned tweak I gave to “sailor33”?
August 10, 2013 at 7:39 pm #56917sailor33MemberMy Editor is loading perfectly now. I only have trouble when I have set sitewide protection, then it bans the page in the editor, but this is not an issue for me, I can adapt to that, might that be your issue mlmalpha?
November 8, 2013 at 5:42 pm #56918topogrupoMemberI have the same problem, i use optimezepress and my live editor don’t work. I disable wp-emember plugin and works well.

November 8, 2013 at 11:46 pm #56919adminKeymasterOur plugin doesn’t have any JavaScript error but it looks like optimizepress does. I would request you to first load a fresh copy of our plugin now to make sure it is compatible with the current version of everything:
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
November 9, 2013 at 12:43 am #56920topogrupoMemberi have install a new version of the plugin (today) before i post the comment
November 9, 2013 at 12:57 am #56921adminKeymasterokay cool. The error that you have shared are not coming from emember. Those errors are coming form the optimizepress solutoin (it is likely you never even noticed that they were there). Do those javascript errors remain even if you deactivate the eMember plugin?
This is how you can check if any of your admin page has javascript errors from any plugin or theme:
