Hi there,
I hope you can help…! I’m getting incomplete registrations with my eMember and it’s possible that I’ve screwed something up.
I HAVE read and re-read the documentation including the posts suggested here within this forum, and watched and re-watched the paypal integration video. I THINK I did everything exactly right. But obviously not.
Could you look at this and tell me if something jumps out at you as dreadully wrong?
Here’s the process I used:
0. I also have an aWeber hook up, which appears to work well.
1. Membership content page
The whole site is free, except this:
http://www.seolater.net/members/members/
2. Purchase page
http://www.seolater.net/members/login/join-us
but I have actually set up a WSO page with complete pitch, and here is a near-free version of it ($0.01): http://seolater.net/members/WSO%20launchTEST.htm
3. Thank you page
Depending on where I sell from I have a few different thank you pages, but the one above (test) resolves to this page: http://www.seolater.net/members/thanks/
4. Login page containing [wp_eMember_login_form:end]
http://www.seolater.net/members/login/member-login/
5. Membership level
ID: 2 (premium)
Redirects to: http://www.seolater.net/members/welcome/
6. Paypal button setup (ipn.php):
http://www.seolater.net/members/wp-content/plugins/wp-eMember/ipn/eMember_handle_paypal_ipn.php
7. WPemember code snippet for paypal was pasted into the Purchase Page (2), and when I pay, I go through the process correctly – BUT… I never get the registration page (after buying I should register my account).
So – I temporarily edited the thank you page and added [wp_eMember_Registration]
It gave me the correct form, BUT – it listed me as a FREE member
So I removed the registration code from there and I’ve decided to ask you for guidance…!
I must be overlooking something dead obvious. But what?
Thanks in advance,
Paul
July 23, 2012 at 3:06 am #47628adminKeymasterThank you for all the details. I have checked your debug log and everything is working fine except the email delivery.
Somewhere the email containing the unique registration completion link is getting blocked so it is never reaching the inbox.
This post will help you figure out what it is:

On a different note: If you wanted to place a registration form for a particular membership level on any page then you can use this option:
