When I try creating a user on our site I get “Site is experiencing technical difficulties” and I see the following error in the debugger:
HTTP500: SERVER ERROR – The server encountered an unexpected condition that prevented it from fulfilling the request.
POST – udcrep.wpengine.com/register-as-a-uds-field-rep/
HTML1502: Unexpected DOCTYPE. Only one DOCTYPE is allowed and it must occur before any elements.

This site is hosted with WPEngine and on their website I get the following error when I try creating a user:

We are using plugin version 8.4.3
Please try deleting the plugin, then download and install a fresh copy of the plugin:

I reinstalled the plugin. I created a back up of the site, deactivated the plugin, deleted it, uploaded the zip file and then activated it. Now it is acting like the plugin isn’t loading. Where there should be a registration form, it just says [wp_eMember_registration_form:end]
