I have been setting up the estore plugin over the last few days and it works very well so far!
I was testing a few download links on my site (from a squeeze page) and on yours (squeeze page examples and when I purchased the estore plugin) and I did notice something that I’m not sure about. After going through the form, I do receive the email with the download link in my gmail inbox, but when I click on the encrypted link, it shows a security pop-up bar and when I click “download file” it doesn’t pull up the file, it just shows this text: Copyright 2002-2010 Google Inc. And that’s it.
This is only happening for me in Internet Explorer 8 (Windows 7), it works perfectly for me in Safari and Firefox and the file downloads like it should.
This also was a problem for me when I downloaded your actual plugin from your site. I couldn’t access the plugin through my email link, I had to go to the thank you page and click on that link and then I was able to download the plugin.
I thought it was related to my internet explorer security levels – so I tried changing them around, but it was still giving me the same problem. Has anyone else experienced this? Any fixes or ideas?

April 16, 2010 at 8:32 am #19756IvyMemberHi, What version of the eStore are you using? I believe will just need to update the plugin to fix this issue. There was a small bug with IE and this has since been fixed.

June 15, 2010 at 1:29 am #19757mvanmeerMemberHi, Ivy! I’m having the same problem. The encrypted PDF download link in the customer’s e-mail opens up great in Firefox but won’t open in IE. I have Version v3.4.3 of eStore. Is there a debugged updated version of that one? If so, how do I get it? There is no mention of an update available yet in the plugins section of WP.
I really love how user-friendly the eStore is and plan to use it a LOT! But most people use IE so this is a problem.
Really appreciate any help you can give me!

I filled in the update request form, and am optimistic about the result. By the way, this is the first time I’ve ever posted anything in a forum. Now I’m excited about forums as well!!!
