I click on the icon to insert a shortcode onto a page and instead of the usual e-store visual I see a screenshot of my home page. I inserted the shortcodes manually from the shortcode list as a workaround. Yesterday I had a purchase off one of those shortcodes and the customer was not connected to AWeber even though the AWeber authorization is in place. Also, I had the “cart when empty” shortcode installed as a widget in the sidebar and it would not click through to PayPal. I already tried uninstalling the plugin and reinstalling it and this did not help.
May 20, 2013 at 10:51 pm #55752PeterMemberHi, Can you please provide a link to the page containing the eStore product with the add to cart button so we can take a look?
In the meantime can you please perform the following theme/plugin conflict tests to see if a problem is being caused by your theme or another plugin (the issue you explained seems like a JavaScript issue which could be coming from another plugin or theme):

May 22, 2013 at 6:42 pm #55753kerrigoMemberHi Peter,
Thanks. The page is [http://essentialcoachingservices.com/checkout/exec] and the problem was with the first button, for Coaching and Consulting. I ran Theme-Check to see if there were problems, which there were. I sent them to the developer to see if he can fix them for me.
Thanks for looking into it on your end.
May 23, 2013 at 2:43 am #55754wpCommerceModeratorHi, I just had a look at the page and it appears that your eStore version is a bit older. Can you please install a fresh copy of the plugin while the theme developer is looking into this?

June 8, 2013 at 5:10 pm #55755kerrigoMemberHello. I have added the new version of the plugin and even after changing themes the plugin is still not working. The issue is still happening. I assume that it is not connecting through Aweber as well although I have not tested that.
I deleted all files from my FTP and re-installed e-store already so that is not the fix.
June 8, 2013 at 11:43 pm #55756wpCommerceModeratorHi, it is likely that you have a plugin installed which is conflicting with the eStore TinyMCE shortcode inserter. Can you please deactivate all the plugins (except eStore) and see how it goes?
If this issue goes away you can start activating one plugin at a time to see which one breaks the shortcode inserting functionality.
Alternatively, Use our shortcode reference guide to copy and paste shortcodes. All of our shortcodes are listed in our documentation here:

June 21, 2013 at 8:44 pm #55757kerrigoMemberThis did not help. The plugin still does not send my customers to Aweber.
June 22, 2013 at 12:59 am #55758adminKeymasterAWeber integration would fail if one or two steps from the setup is missing:

I will take a look at your site and see what is going on. I have sent you an email to get access to the site.
Update: Turns out that the PayPal IPN wasn’t working on this site. Going trough this checklist helped:
