Hi there,
I’ve carefully followed your Video on creating an email parser for Aweber. I have a Aweber created squeeze form for subs to sign up to on the Home page – this works, Aweber adds them to the list.
But I also have 2 free downloads PDF’s: These Download forms are yours created (Ajax I think), and Ive checked the Auto Respond settings, all seems OK. The forms work, I get the download link and the download – but nothing integrates with Aweber for these downloads.
Can you help??. Please.
January 21, 2011 at 4:46 am #28232wpCommerceModeratorCan you please let me know what shortcode you are using for the free downloads?
January 21, 2011 at 5:28 pm #28233qickrushMemberThis is the shortcode:
[wp_eStore_free_download:product_id:1:end] and just with a different product id for the other.
January 22, 2011 at 4:15 am #28234wpCommerceModeratorHi, This is the shortcode for the normal squeeze page. The normal squeeze page didn’t have the autoresponder integration before (it used to work only with the ajax squeeze page). Recently the autoresponder integration has been added to the normal squeeze page. Please get an updated version of eStore and it should work –
January 24, 2011 at 3:09 pm #28235qickrushMemberIve updated eCommerce, Ive tried the normal and ajax squeezes, and neither work. Im obviously missing something very simple but for the life of me can’t see it.(I had exactly same problems with Get Response and you guys had to look at my site to fix it but Ive lost the post that told me how!], and now its repeating when Ive switched to Aweber)
Do you need to look at my site and need log in details or anything?
January 25, 2011 at 3:43 am #28236amin007ParticipantYou said that the AWeber signup after a sales work right? so that means the AWeber setup part is correct. Are you testing the squeeze form with the same product that you tested with the sales?
Lets try with debug so we can get a bit more info. Please turn on debug from the settings menu of the plugin (don’t forget to reset the debug files so we get a clean capture). Now, use the squeeze form and share the content of the “squeeze_form_debug.log” file here. It should tell me more as to what is going on after you submit the squeeze form.

February 3, 2011 at 4:41 am #28238amin007ParticipantCan you hit the “Reset Debug Log Files” button and then do another test so we can capture a clean debug for just that one. this time please share the content of the following two files:
– squeeze_form_debug.log
– eStore_post_payment_debug.log
Also, please post a link to your squeeze form page.
February 3, 2011 at 7:41 am #28239qickrushMemberIve been playing with settings (it seems my aweber global signup setting was wrong, sorry!) and have now been able to generate an opt-in confirmation email from aweber.
But the question now is: eCommerce generates the email for download link whilst Aweber sends opt-in confirmation email at the same time. SHouldn’t the signup to Aweber be automatic? The way this is configured now, the download can go ahead, the Aweber can be ignored and the list signup fails.
February 4, 2011 at 2:00 am #28240amin007ParticipantAWeber insists that the a person must confirm before they can be put in the list.. there is no way around it. So, no matter how you integrate the customer must confirm the email himself before he will appear in your AWeber list (its just how AWeber works).

July 5, 2011 at 8:20 am #28241ctravaglinoMemberI am having the same problem as posted above where I have the global settings in place but I am not generating an autoresponder email from aweber. I verified the address is correct and if I email the aweber address manually, I get signed up with my list. I have tried using both [wp_eStore_free_download_ajax:product_id:5:end] and [wp_eStore_free_download:product_id:1:end] with no luck. Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Chris
