I searched and found a 7 year old post How to Retrieve and Show Specific Details of the Logged-in Member”, and added the given shortcodes to a member info page. Some of the ones given work, but many do not, instead of the info I see this message: “You need to specify a user info field to use this function.”

    For example, these work:

    [wp_eMember_user_details user_info=”user_name”]

    [wp_eMember_user_details user_info=”user_membership_level_name”]

    But these do not:

    [wp_eMember_user_details user_info=”account_state”]

    [wp_eMember_user_details user_info=”subscription_starts”]

    [wp_eMember_user_details user_info=”member_expiry_date”]

    Thanks,

    William

I just tested those shortcodes and they all worked for me. Check the member’s profile from the admin dashboard to make sure that the profile is valid. What is the account status set for that user profile? What is the membership expiry condition set for it (what is the expiry of the membership level that is belongs to)?

The profile is valid. The account status is “Active”. The expiry date is currently set to 2020-03-04 (tomorrow).

There is some sort of weird interaction going on. When I add one of the 3 failing shortcodes, not only do I get the “you need to specify a user info field… ” message, but it also messes up the page display. The page footer moves to the top of the page, just under the header. I swear I am not making this up!

Could this be some odd interaction with the WP eStore plug-in?

Is there any caching happening on this page? Maybe it is showing a broken cached page.

Can you please do the following also to make sure no files got corrupted:
