Digital product variation – no download link included in email to buyer

I sell a paperback book and three digital versions (pdf, epub, and Kindle) on my website (www.noperiodnowwhat.com/book/products). I recently created a paperback + ebook option, using the digital product variations in order to theoretically deliver one of the three types of ebook files. My buyers get an email but it does not include the digital product download link when they select paperback+ebook. The area where that information should go is blank.

The individual ebook purchases work with no issue, with appropriate link included, so it is not a problem with the availability of the file.

I have {product_link} in the body of the email that buyers receive, and again, this works fine with the products without digital product variation.

Under Digital Content Details I have noperiodnowwhat.com in the “Digital Product URL” field. Under Variations I have the following in the “Digital Product Variation” field in the Variations section: “eBook|Pdf::http://noperiodnowwhat.com/wp-admin/MyDirectory/NoPeriodNowWhat.pdf|Kindle(Mobi)::http://noperiodnowwhat.com/wp-admin/MyDirectory/NoPeriodNowWhat.mobi|Epub::http://noperiodnowwhat.com/wp-admin/MyDirectory/NoPeriodNowWhat.epub”

I am using WordPress version 4.9.1 and WPeStore v7.3.6.

After hours of trying different things, I still could not get the download link on the “Thank You ” page to work. As a last resort, I tried deleting and reinstalling a fresh copy. It works!
