August 25, 2012 at 2:54 am #48689wzpModeratorDid you move the download.php file from the original location? Are you able to do any downloads?
August 25, 2012 at 7:38 am #48690jojoebiMemberHi,
I didn’t knowingly move anything. If I try and buy/download anything I get this message
The seller accepts encrypted website payments only. You cannot pay the seller through un-encrypted buttons. Please contact your seller for more details.

August 25, 2012 at 11:45 am #48692wzpModeratorRegarding the eStore warning message:
If you use the eStore –> Settings –> Admin Functions page to manually create a download link to one of your products; does that download link work, when you copy/paste it not your browser’s address bar?
You can also reset your eStore settings to default from the Admin Functions menu which should recalculate that URL value and use the correct one.
Regarding the paypal error message: You are receiving the PayPal error, because of of a setting you changed in your PayPal profile. Do the following to correct it:
1. Visit the PayPal web site and sign.
2. Under the My Account tab, click Profile. You’ll see the Profile Summary page.
3. Click the “My Selling Tools” link.
4. In the “Selling Online” section, click the “Update” link to the right of “Website preferences”.
5. Partway down the Website Payment Preferences page, you’ll see a section called “Encrypted Website Payments”. Click the Off button next to “Block Non-encrypted Website Payment”.
6. Click the Save button at the bottom of the page to save your change.
August 27, 2012 at 12:03 pm #48693jojoebiMemberThank you for your help.
the eStore thing – I manually made a download link and it all worked OK and I tried ‘buying’ a couple of products and that seemed to work OK too. Is this error message something i should be worried about?
I didn’t reset the eStore settings because I wasn’t sure what would happen! Will I have to input all the product data for each item if I do this? I really have no idea how all this works (as if you couldn’t guess)
The PayPal thing is fixed now, thank you for your advice,
Jo
August 27, 2012 at 1:19 pm #48694wzpModeratorIf the download links are working fine then you do not need to worry about the warning.
I was just re-reading your first post. Why does the name of the plugin directory have a “-1” in it? The problem could be that you have multiple copies of the plugin in your plugins folder. Did you recently update this plugin?
August 8, 2018 at 7:29 am #48695JonathanMemberI have set up the store as per your settings.
I have tested the product sales and the payment is going through PayPal, however I am not getting a download link.
I can manually generate one ok.
I can see the following error message iWARNING: Cannot locate file download.php in the eStore plugin directory.
As per the suggestion above I have reset your eStore settings to default
It’s still showing the error message and downloads are not working.
August 8, 2018 at 11:54 am #48696wzpModeratorWhat version of eStore are you using? Please try this:

August 18, 2018 at 7:55 am #48698JonathanMemberI have reset the E-store
I have un-installed it and re-installed it. I have even tried it on another WP website and the same error code appears.
I am using:
WP eStore v8.0.5
WordPress 4.9.8
August 19, 2018 at 4:09 am #48699adminKeymasterI will take a look at your site. I have sent you an email for it.
August 20, 2018 at 6:21 am #48700adminKeymasterYou are using amazon S3 so you can ignore that warning. Also, your downloads are working fine. I feel your issue is that the users are not even getting an email from the system after the payment?
