Dear All,
I had setup several download products for my listing. I’m receiving customer complain one of the product unable to download, return error shown below:
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request.
The problem was due to the following reason:
The download link (see browser address bar) has expired (it’s too old). If you think this reason is in error, please contact the site administrator.
Action: I had checked the URL link is work well, when I copy & paste the link direct from the web browser.
Please advice. Thank for your help
December 20, 2011 at 6:44 am #39898IvyMemberThis means the download link is expiring. What do you have specified in the “Duration of Download Link” in the eStore settings?
December 20, 2011 at 4:47 pm #39899eircMemberHello Ivy,
Thank for your reply. I had set the download duration to 72 hours.
FYI, customer purchase and use this immediately (within hour). Then return this error message. Meaning download period not yet expire.
Please advice. Thank for your help
December 20, 2011 at 8:08 pm #39900wzpModeratorDid they also try using the link more than N (default is 3) times?
December 21, 2011 at 6:39 am #39901eircMemberThank for your reply. FYI, “Download Limit Count” is blank (no value).
After read from other post. I did run the test function at “admin function”. I had realized some of my digital product having same problem. I did check on my listing 30 digital products, 12 products having below error message (it’s difference from previous):
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request. Please contact the site administrator.
Please tell the site administrator the problem was due to the following reason:
The download script couldn’t locate the file associated with the digital product. If the administrator thinks this reason is in error, maybe a different URL conversion option might fix the problem.
Your help is appreciated. Thank

https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/re-install-or-load-a-fresh-build-of-the-plugins
2. Then check this checklist:

3. Finally, do this and share the debug file here:
