Registration forms are too wide and brake my mobile theme design with smaller displays (e.g. iphone 4). Sorry, site under construction, so no URL to post. Can the forms be customized to show field names above the fields to save horizontal space?

Thank you for your answerI have read that page and I went through it’s link. I cannot find what I’m looking for. I can copy and paste code to eMember_custom_style.css and change some atributes, but otherwise I have no CSS skils.
I’m looking for the customization of the free members registration form and the registration form. I want the field name to appear above the field. Could you help me with the CSS?
February 21, 2014 at 4:29 pm #60987wzpModeratorYou are correct; you *do* need an understanding of CSS to customize the forms.
Here is an article, complete with a 2 part video tutorial, you might find useful on CSS tweaking:
If you feel that CSS customization is beyond your capabilities; you can request a custom work order quote, and someone will get back to you:
February 25, 2014 at 2:03 pm #60988mattipMemberThank you for your answer. I was hoping to get some push to the correct CSS code like others have had:
eMember – Increase distance between fields in registration form
Complex CSS customization is out of my reach, but I can manage with basics with some instruction. If this is a customization needing custom work order, I’ll have to look at it.
February 25, 2014 at 5:19 pm #60989wzpModeratorYes, fixing it yourself is within your reach, if you are able to follow the tutorial video. CSS fixes are not a “one size fits all” solution; every one may be different. For exmple: if you ask us a particular question like how can I add a little padding between my labels, we should be able to help with that. However, if you tell us that “Make something look like X (just an example)”. That is not something we can help you easily. Read the 3rd point from here for better understanding:

The custom work order option is available, if you’d like to just “run your business” and let us take care of the techie stuff.
