I have gone over the steps several times outlined on how to create a pay-per-view store with WPeStore. When I test a purchase, (1) There is no automatic redirection to the “Thank You” page and (2) There is no link to the product page in the email. There is only a “Thank you for your purchase” and that’s it. I’ve ran through the instructions step by step but cannot see what is being overlooked. Please help.
January 16, 2012 at 10:02 pm #40788PeterMemberHi,
There are a few things that are often overlooked when people try to set this up.
1) Ensure that you have enabled Auto-return for website payments in your PayPal profile
2) Similarly ensure that you have enabled Payment Data Transfer (PDT) in your PayPal profile and copied the token and pasted it into your eStore Payment Gateway settings
3) In eStore settings in the “Post Payment Processing” settings, ensure that you have enabled “Enable Transaction Result Display”
4) In the thankyou page make sure that you put the following shortcode:
[wp_eStore_transaction_result:end]
January 17, 2012 at 5:21 am #40789adminKeymasterIf you have done everything suggested by Peter then the issue might be somewhere else (the plugin is not receiving notification from PayPal). Run a test with debug and it will reveal the issue. This post will guide you (read it carefully):
https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/how-and-when-to-enable-debug-and-what-does-it-do
January 26, 2012 at 5:01 am #40790vanbranMemberI have the same problem.
Once people pay for the product in estore, I dont get redirected to the thank you page after and there is no link in to the product URL page in the email. The email goes into my inbox both from paypal and from estore saying thank you for the purchase but no product link.
So I did everything above – I checked all this:
1) Ensure that you have enabled Auto-return for website payments in your PayPal profile
2) Similarly ensure that you have enabled Payment Data Transfer (PDT) in your PayPal profile and copied the token and pasted it into your eStore Payment Gateway settings
3) In eStore settings in the “Post Payment Processing” settings, ensure that you have enabled “Enable Transaction Result Display”
4) In the thankyou page make sure that you put the following shortcode:
[wp_eStore_transaction_result:end]
And that’s all good I’ve done all that AND
Then I reset the debug in estore settings and ran a test and I got all success in:
ipn_handle_debug.log
eStore_post_payment_debug.log
And these files told me the log file was reset with a time on it:
subscription_handle_debug.log
squeeze_form_debug.log
download_manager_debug.log
QUESTION #1- So what am I doing wrong here?
Here is what I am trying to do.
I am selling a collection of digital audio downloads for 97$.
I am using Affiliate plug in and created an opt in page and affiliates can copy code there and drive traffic to that opt in page. From the opt in page it goes directly to the sales page, and an email gets sent to the people with a link to the sales page also.
QUESTION #2 – will the affiliates be rewarded for their people who buy once they click on the link to the sales page that I send them in my awebber autoresponder? I mean how does the program know that once someone signs up and goes through the opt in sequence and then buys from the sales page that its that affiliates commission? God I hope that you understand that question…
Next – I have emember and I configured that tonight and made a paypal button and bought the thing.
I tested it but I am not redirected to the thank you page, and the emails are not being sent to me with the registration link.
I don’t get the email from that purchase. I was testing this one with just a paypal button not e-store integration but now I think I have to use e-store and integrate all 3 of them right?
QUESTION #3 I have to use all three of these in conjunction together Affiliate plug in, estore and emember to make this all work right?
Man am I ever confused…
Please God help me figure this thing out….
January 26, 2012 at 7:11 am #40791IvyMemberI sent you an email regarding this and your other forum post. Let me know if you do not receive this email.
February 1, 2012 at 7:35 am #40792LFPonlineMemberHi – I have tried everything here…I ran again through all suggested checkpoints.
Then I ran a test with Debug and all it shows is a list of SUCCESSes, but there is still no redirection to the “Thank You” Page with encrypted link, and once again I get an email saying that the purchase has been received. A “Thank You for your purchase” email sent to customer, but no encrypted link in the email. I’ve gone through this step by step many times. What else can I try?
February 2, 2012 at 4:31 am #40793adminKeymaster1. Please share the debug file from your test run so we can see what is going on.
2. What version of eStore are you using?
3. Post a link to the page where you have the payment button.
4. You said that “no automatic redirection” happens from PayPal after purchase. This is because you probably didn’t enable “Auto Redirect” in your PayPal profile. This is something you set in your PayPal account.
February 2, 2012 at 4:53 pm #40794LFPonlineMember1. ipn_handle_debug.log

[02/01/2012 6:20 AM] – SUCCESS :Performing global autoresponder signup if specified.
2. Version v6.2.5
3. http://www.lehmannfilms.com/online
4. I had enabled Auto Return for Website Payments from the beginning:
Auto Return for Website Payments brings your buyers back to your website immediately after payment completion. Auto Return applies to PayPal Website Payments, including Buy Now, Donations, Subscriptions, and Shopping Cart.
I put in my “Thank You” Page address for the Return URL
I enabled Payment Data Transfer and I copied my Identity Token into eStore.
Thanks!
February 2, 2012 at 11:46 pm #40795PeterMemberHi,
Let’s try this – Can you please load a fresh copy of the latest eStore version by following the instructions in this link:
Let us know if that corrects the problem.
February 3, 2012 at 4:40 am #40796adminKeymasterThank you, Everything looks good to me. Can you please share what you have in the “Email Body” field in the settings menu of the plugin?
Regarding the auto redirect after the purchase. eStore has no control over the auto redirect from PayPal (this is purely controlled via your PayPal profile). Please contact PayPal and ask them why the auto redirect after Payment is not working for your account.
Just one note: I am pretty sure PayPal doesn’t auto redirect the user if he/she paid via a credit card (in this event the user will have to click on the “return to merchant” link to get to thank you page.
March 24, 2012 at 3:28 am #40797burgo7MemberHi, similar problem.
Paypal payment goes through, but no email.
Also not finding thankyou page on auto return.

March 24, 2012 at 3:47 am #40798burgo7MemberHi again,
email came through eventually, but as per above there is a problem with the stamping.
Email received below
Dear Cameron

Any item(s) to be shipped will be processed as soon as possible, any digital item(s) can be downloaded using the encrypted links below.
[http://www.acimjournal.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-cart-for-digital-products/download.php?file=Error with PDF stamping (Error code: PDF01)]. Perform a manual stamping and make sure the PDF stamper is working on your server.
When clicking the link, the following page opens.
The secure download manager ran into a problem that it couldn’t handle, and is unable to process your download request.
The problem was due to the following reason:
The download link (see browser address bar) has expired (it’s too old). If you think this reason is in error, please contact the site administrator.
Help help
P.S I am using Optimize Press premium theme. I was using the Paypal download plug in but de-activated it and tried to set up eStore and pdf stamper. I currently have eStore and pdf stamp deactivated and have returned to my old settings but really want to get this up and running…
Thanks & regards
March 24, 2012 at 11:45 pm #40799adminKeymasterYour only issue is that the PDF Stamper is not working 100% on your site. So please head to the “Manual Stamping” page of the PDF Stamper plugin and test out the stamping engine. If you are not sure how to do a manual stamping then please see the video tutorials of the PDT Stamper plugin.
Go through this checklist to make the stamper work then everything will work fine:
March 25, 2012 at 8:26 am #40800burgo7MemberI need to keep my site up and running with the current settings.
I have set up a local host version of WP using MAMP. Is there a way that i can have the stamper authorised for my local host site to test and get it running?
Or can i activate and test on my hosted site without affecting the operation of the existing pages?
So if i dont add any WP estore or PDF stamper content to the pages it wont affect the live site?
Thanks
March 25, 2012 at 10:44 pm #40801adminKeymasterIt won’t break your site if you do any of the checklist mentioned here (It only affects the PDF Stamper plugin). Your site visitors won’t see any changes in your site:
It will probably take you under 20 minutes to go through the full checklist so it will be quick too. Start with checklist #6 (there is a good chance it will work after that).
