I’ve installed the update of May 3 2010;
I have two products (ID 5 and ID 6)
Product 5 is $47
Product 6 is $97 + $15 shipping
I am trying to create a coupon that when they purchase both products they get $47 discount (thus making product 5 FREE only IF they buy Product 6.
I created a coupon with a discount value of $47.00 Redemption limit 2
Conditions are: Subtotal Amount “is equal to” $144.00 (that excludes shipping)
The Bugs:
Entering the code early if it is just product 5 or 6 chosen we get:
“Discount applied successfully! Total Discount: 0”
It should not return applied successfully!” then 0, it should return something like:
“you have not satisfied the requirements (or conditions) to use this coupon. No discount has been given.
Then when they meet the requirements (Obviously they have to delete their cookies if they made a mistake)
The discount of $47 was applied to each Item for a total discount of $94 (47 x 2)
“Discount applied successfully! Total Discount: $94.00”
What am I doing wrong here? Shouldn’t it have been just for $47 ???
I even tried to do this with conditions being:
Total Quantity is equal to “2”
I’m puzzled…
May 7, 2010 at 11:21 pm #20408gymgangstaMemberAlso…since they are supposed to get a discount only if they buy two items, once they apply the coupon and the discount is given, they can remove one item from the cart and the cart keeps the discounted price, it doesn’t revert back to the original price.

The conditional coupons get complex as different payment gateways handle payment data slightly differently and I need to be able to verify the discounted payment on the other side (after the payment) before giving the download links.
Anyway, I have sent you an email to follow it up.
