Comment reply Not working when emember is activated

I have my blog all setup and running someone made a comment and when i went in to the Wp admin panel to post a reply it does nothing it wont let me reply it just sits there I deactivate emeber and it lets me reply any help on this is greatly appreciated

Which version of eMember are you using?

Can you please try the following plugin/theme conflict tests to eliminate the possibility that there might be another plugin contributing to your problem:

And I did do as suggested above thats how I found out it was wpemeber Causing the problem

Did you disable all other plugins EXCEPT eMember to see if the problem still exists?

And did you do the theme test too to see if your theme may be causing a conflict?

All of the plugins at Tips and Tricks HQ have been coded using the strict wordpress coding architecture but unfortunately there are a lot of other plugins (and themes) out there which aren’t. This is why we ask people to perform a conflict test with regards to the plugins which are not designed by us.

yes i diabled all the other plugins 1 by 1 and changed the theme and the minute and the problem does not appear until I start emember and that is with emeber being the only plugin activated

Now let’s start with a clean slate by installing the latest fresh copy of eMember by following these instructions:

Re-install or Load a Fresh Copy of the Plugin(s)

See how that goes before we move on.

Ok I have figured out the problem the problem is this when i uncheck users must be logged in to comment everything works when I check that box even though I am admin it will not let me comment from the admin dashboard unless I actually loginto emebers member login

You most like have the “Protect Comments Separately” option checked in eMember settings. Can you please verify that for me?

No that option is unchecked

Another thing is there somwhere in the code of emeber I can change how emails are sent like memebrs dont get email becuase of whatever reason so ni have setup mx records for gmail however the mail is till not semding form gmail is there some code i can change and make emebr send from gmail

It seems to be working. Have you ever encountered the problem where a memebr signs up gets the email sets up a username but inside the members area doesnt show a username it just sits there like they need to confirm the email

Nope, if someone completes the registration it will update his/her membership record.
