Hello,
I used Method 2 (https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/estore-change-the-checkout-button-image-in-the-shopping-cart) to change the default yellow PayPal checkout button. I wanted the button to be a little bigger and more legible. I “saved as” the new button .png with the same name “checkout_paypal.png” used by the plugin and uploaded it via FileZilla FTP to the “images” folder of the WPeStore plugin. In FileZilla, the “checkout_paypal.png” in the online images folder shows the new file date, and when I download it to my desktop, it shows the new larger button. However, when I visit TheABCD.com and add something the the cart, the button is still the original, small yellow PayPal button that is installed with WPeStore. Can somebody please let me know how to make the new button appear on my cart-checkout page?
Thank you,
Steve

October 5, 2018 at 7:09 am #78626stevecarrSpectatorwzp -Thank you – I just cleared Chrome’s image cache and the new, larger PayPal button is there. Unfortunately, something happened to the shopping cart page. After I enter a test product into the cart, I cant remove it, nor can I apply a discount code to it. When I click purchase I get an alert pop-up that says “your cart is empty” which leads to an article about PHP problems. The day I changed the button, I also re-wrote some of the text describing the purchase process. Did making the yellow button bigger or changing the buyer’s instructions cause the cart to be broken? Should I upload the old, smaller yellow PayPal button? Please let me know what I should do to make the coupons and empty cart buttons work again. A test product can be loaded into a the cart here: theabcd.com/courses/ Thank you, Steve
October 5, 2018 at 5:36 pm #78627stevecarrSpectatorI also noticed the shopping cart-checkout page at https://theabcd.com/checkout/ does not resize properly for mobile view. The “quantity” and “total” amount fields are off the right side of the mobile device’s screen. I don’t know if this just started because of the larger PayPal button, or if it’s been like this for a while. But I need to get my cart-checkout page fixed. Please help. Thank you, Steve
October 5, 2018 at 7:24 pm #78628wzpModeratorI don’t know what discount code to try, nor did I try the site on a mobile device. But aside from the unusual slowness of your hosting provider, the cart seems to be “working.” I am using Chrome version 69.
October 5, 2018 at 7:26 pm #78629stevecarrSpectatorHello, I’m pretty sure I fixed the main shopping cart problem. I did this by going to “Pages” in WordPress, choosing the Car(checkout) page, and then “reverting to saved” for the Cart page to a point months ago (the last time the Cart page was tested to be working). Yeah! – Now, when a product is added to the cart, the cart-checkout page automatically opens, the new large PayPal button is there, the coupons are working, the “empty cart” button empties the cart and the product sale goes through.
The only issue now is that when viewed on a mobile device, the cart page doesn’t show the “quantity” and “total” fields – they are off the right side of the screen. Can you please let me know how to fix the cart page resizing on a mobile device? theabcd.com/checkout/ thank you, Steve
October 7, 2018 at 4:32 am #78630adminKeymasterThe cart should show everything fine in a mobile device. You can see how it is suppose to be shown by adding an item from our site here:

Something is broken on this site. Please do the following first to make sure a customization is not breaking things:

Then do the following test:
