    Just wondering if it was possible to go into one of the files on the FTP perhaps and change the link saying terms and conditions to my actual page (in this case “conditions of use”). However, the functionality is perfect as is.

    Thanks.

    Hi,

    I checked the englsih lang file mentioned and didn’t see any reference to terms and conditions. Is it possible that it’s not there but is somewhere else?

    On a similar note, another question that’s come up is the message that appears when the page is blocked to members only. The message I get says “Membership payment/join page not defined in the settings page. Please contact Admin. I would like to have the message say something like “This page is avaialable only to paying members”. I didn’t see this message in the english lang file either. Is it possible to change this as well?

    Thanks.

    In the “eng.php” file look for the following:

    define("ESTORE_TERMS_AND_CONDITIONS", "Terms & Conditions");
    define("ESTORE_TERMS_AGREE", " I agree to the ");
    define("ESTORE_TERMS_ERROR", "You must agree to the Terms & Conditions!");

    The message you are getting from eMember is a setup error related message (this message should not be customer visible so it doesn’t come from the language file). Basically the plugin needs to have the URL of the “Membership payment/join page” specified in the “Pages Settings” menu. How will they become a payment member if they don’t even know how to become a member first?

    This page explains more on what the “Join Us” page actually is:
