Hello, I have followed all of the Aweber instructions.
I have the “From” email address in the email parser (correct syntax – I had AWeber check it).
I have the list-name@aweber.com checked in eStore and every time I test a purchase I get nothing in my Aweber account.
I’m sure I am missing something, but I have been through the instructions about 20 times and everything looks ok. I have also tried recreating them and changing from WordPress Mailing to the PHP mailing options.
Any ideas would be much appreciated.
October 18, 2011 at 10:40 pm #37686holden2MemberLooks like its something to do with the mail script saying its sending from the main server IP and not from my domain.
550 Could not resolve hostname from XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX , please contact your ISP to configure a reverse DNS entry before retrying.
October 18, 2011 at 10:56 pm #37687holden2MemberI switched over to the WordPress Mailing script and the plugin you have to change the WordPress mail info.
Here’s my post sale log:

October 19, 2011 at 12:14 am #37688adminKeymasterOne of the main reasons for AWeber signup to not work is if your “From email details” does not match with the one specified in the trigger rule of the AWeber parser. So it is best to not use any kind of plugin that alters the details of the “From Email Address” for outgoing emails (otherwise it will hard for you to troubleshoot).
with that said, please have a look at this thread and let me know if you find any helpful info (make sure to check the full content of that thread… it has a lot of good troubleshooting info there):
October 19, 2011 at 12:00 pm #37689holden2MemberI have been through that link, that is how I knew to post that log.
Is there somewhere I can post my actual logs without giving all of my info to the public.
I have tried not using the plugin to change the email (it’s a tipsandtricks-hq plugin by the way).
I have tried changing the email address and changing the parser rules, no go. Something else is going on here.
October 19, 2011 at 10:30 pm #37690adminKeymasterYou can send it to us via this form (also send us a screenshot of the email parser too):
October 20, 2011 at 12:46 pm #37691holden2MemberHey, thanks for the quick response. I am working with Aweber now, I think it may be on their end. I will post back when I figure it out. Hopefully it will help someone else down the line.
Thanks!
October 20, 2011 at 7:45 pm #37692holden2MemberYep, It was something about my domain and Aweber not accepting email from us. I had to get on support with them and they eventually “did something” and now it works like a charm.
Thank you.
March 26, 2012 at 10:15 pm #37693CallawayitisMemberI have the same exact problem as you. Do you know what they did to resolve your issue?
Thanks!
March 27, 2012 at 5:46 am #37694adminKeymasterPlease make sure you go through this checklist first. Sometimes the issues may look similar but it can happen for a different reason (pay good attention to the AWeber section):
May 10, 2012 at 1:53 am #37695LSM101MemberI set up my eStore and Affiliate several weeks ago using the email parser instructions. presumably it was working back then, I thought. I have now had an affiliate actually sign up and it did not automatically enroll them in the Aweber list. I received an email to confirm that they got an affiliate sign up email, but they were not added to the list.
I came to your website and discovered that all of the email parser instructions have been rescinded due to the new Aweber API. However, the screen shot you show has 4 boxes for data entry including the API key. My software (for both eStore and Affiliate) shows only the original two entry boxes (one is for automatic integration with Aweber, the other is for the Aweber list name), but not the additional fields shown in your screen shot.
What do I need to do to get the additional fields to appear?
A) Do I need to delete the email parser I have set up with Aweber?
Do I need to have an upgrade or update to my Tips and Tricks software? I am on V6.5.1 of eStore and V4.9.9.9 for Affiliate.
C) I am on wordpress 3.3.2- do I need to downgrade?
D) Or is there something else entirely that I need to do?
Thanks so much in advance. Love the software, btw.
May 10, 2012 at 4:43 am #37696adminKeymasterAWeber finally added the capability to add subscribers via their API so we went ahead and implemented the API method (this makes AWeber integration very easy to setup).
Simply get new builds of the plugins from here then upgrade the plugins and you will be good to go:
