Love your product but have 2 issues:
1) I can’t delete products from the product management page
2) How do I turn off the light box efffects on individual products?

1.) To delete a product you need to go to the ‘Manage Products Menu’ select edit for the product you want to delete and at the bottom of the edit page you will see a button that says delete product.
2.) There is not a light box effect for individual product. There is however a globe setting in the setting menu (Enable Lightbox effect on Images)you can turn this off by unchecking the box.

I’ll try the lightbox advice. But it remains a cruel fact that I cannot delete products. I click on the delete box for products and save the settings and time after time the products are not deleted.

Hi, After you hit delete you should see the following sentence at the top of the page ‘Do you really want to delete this Product? This action cannot be undone. Yes No!’ You need to click yes and it will delete the product. You do not need to hit the save button after the delete button.

Using the newest version of the plugin. I decided to delete 5 products and add them to a different category. I still have one product assigned to the original category. The ones I deleted are gone. But the problem is when I want to show the one product in the original category using the shortcode that allows viewing products from a particular category, I get the following error 5 times. “Looks like you have entered a product ID () that doesn’t exist in the product database. Please check your product ID value again!” It looks like it is still trying to pull the former products up, but they are no longer there.
I’m using the following code on the page which should only show one product from the category, [wp_eStore_category_products_fancy id=9 style=3]
Could use some help on this. I guess, I should have just changed the category rather than delete the product.March 21, 2014 at 2:05 pm #17810wzpModerator
Are you using any caching on your site? If so, try purging the cache.March 21, 2014 at 3:04 pm #17811
Okay, I’ll try that. I don’t think there is caching, but I’ll check on it.
Just checked it. There is no plugin cache on the site. And I have cleared the cache in my browser.

Please examine the page that has the errors, to see if any of the shortcodes have “hard coded” product ID numbers:March 21, 2014 at 5:39 pm #17813
This is the shortcode I used:
[wp_eStore_category_products_fancy id=9 style=3]
The category id is 9 – Electronic with one product in the category. I’m not using the product id in this shortcode, just the category id.
Just tried something else. I added two products to that category, they are now in two categories. They show up on both category pages, including the electronic category page and the music singles page. But I am still seeing the errors on the electronic page. Go to Admin Functions menu of eStore. Then hit the following button:
Resync Products and Category Relations Table
You should be good after that.March 22, 2014 at 11:37 am #17815
Yes! That did it! Thanks so much!
