Cannot add a membership level ( v5.9.2) in a php version 5.1.6 environement

Hello,

I use for me WP_emember with the php version 5.2.x : no problem.

A customer have a website in php version 5.1.6 but he can’t upgrade the version.

Does WP_emember can’t work at all in php 5.1.6 ?

Please upgrade to the latest version of everything, try again, and if necessary please provide specific details about the problem.

I update E store(v4.7.1) and E member(v5.9.3) but that don’t fix my problem :

I try to remove plugins files and reactivate the plugins but i can’t find the solution.

I encontred this problem only with the php version 5.1.x.

I use firefox and my php configuration is 5.1.6.(I can’t use version 5.2 for this website)

If you cannot add products or membership level then the database columns are most likely out of sync. PHP v5.1.6 should not be a problem as there are other sites using it. Can you confirm that you have deleted the plugins from the site then downloaded a fresh version and activated that?

I can’t deleted the plugins properly from the WordPress backend because i use sftp protocol(wordpress don’t allow me to auto connect from sftp) . Simply I desactivated the plugin and removed the files manually with WinSCP. I look at the database and the Estore’s data are not deleted. So I think is because i can’t remove the plugin properly. Do you have a manually method for removing informations of estore and emember from the database ?

The data in the database can stay. As long as you delete the full plugin folder then upload a fresh copy and activate it, the plugin should readjust.

If you do want to fully remove everything (including the data in the database) then go to PHPMyAdmin from cPanel then browse to your wordpress database and find all the tables for eStore and drop them (dropping a table in SQL means deleting a table). After you have deleted all the eStore tables in the database and deleted the plugin folder then upload a fresh copy and give it a go.

But when I upload a fresh copy and reactive the plugin, I look at the database and any estore tables are created. When I try to save the plugins settings the options are store in database but any table are added (I can add a product).the options like wp_eStore_dbx_version are not created any more.

I try the same thinks with another server(php5.2.X) when I reactive the plugin the tables are created (It work !) I try to duplicate the estore tables on the primary server(php5.1.6) but I can add a product any more, I try to add a product from the data base no problem. I don’t understand why the request failed after duplicate the Estore tables.

My only solution is to ask my customer to move the php version to 5.2.x.
