Hey, I am selling four ebooks (pdf files) on one page and want to give the customer the option of buying one or more through one check out and discounted option eg; buy 3 get 1 free.
I am using…
Stamper, Pay Pal and using [wp_eStore_buy_now_fancy id=#] for my button.
Can this be done. Because I am trying a few buttons and cant get a cart up to add ebooks too. I would like to use [wp_eStore_buy_now_fancy id=#] button or some thing like it.
Do I have to use a Add to cart button and leave the “options section for Buy Now or Subscription type buttons” blank?
Buy Now type buttons are single checkout buttons. If you want to let your customers buy multiple items together you need to use “Add to cart” type buttons. This lets you use coupon codes and stuff. This post will explain the differences between the available types of buttons:
Hi Key Master, yes I have read the forum. I have tired the short code for [wp_eStore_fancy1 id=9] and it’s not working, it’s showing in the window as just the code.
I am using stamper with my pdf, has this got anything to do with it?
Please post a link to the page where you have used that shortcode. What version of eStore are you using?
I fixed it.
It was having a URL in >Addition product details> button redirect target URL.
I am happy …. i dont know what happen yesterday in set up the buttons???!!!
Thanks
Plus.. Am I to have the “Inventory Control Sales Counts Box” on 1 ?
If you place a value in the “button redirect target URL” then that means you want the button to work as a redirect. Not sure why you filled up that field but its good to know that you sorted it out now. The sales counter simply keeps track of how many times this item has been sold. You can set it to whatever you like (by default it starts from 0)
Ok, I fully understand it now. Ha.
Thank you for your help, Cheers:)
