Can customers modify thier subscriptions after purchase?

I sell subscriptions with recurring billing through paypal. The customer can pick two of my products which I ship to them each month. It is possible for the customer to log in and change the products they are subscribed to. The way I have it set up is there is one subscription and I have two variation options with drop downs. The subscription lets the customer choose any two products from the drop down.

The “Subscription Amount” cannot be changed for an existing subscription (PayPal doesn’t allow you to change that for security reasons).

So when you change a subscription price the existing members will not get affected. They will be billed at the rate that they agreed to pay when they signed up. Only new members will be charged the new price. Everyone in this membership level will continue to get the same access.
