If you want to change the subscription price of your membership signup fee then follow one of the options below:
Option 1: Simply create a new subscription payment button in eStore with the new price and use that button on your “Membership Payment” page. Any new customer’s won’t even know that the price used to be lower.
Leave the old eStore subscription product in the database so the existing recurring payments from the existing members do not fail.
Option 2: Change the price of the existing eStore subscription product to your new price but make sure the value in the “Price” field is set at the lowest of all charges (this way the payment verification won’t fail). For subscription products the value in the “Price” field doesn’t really matter in terms of the subscription charge (the subscription details are taken from the subscription section of the product). So you can use a textual description in the price field like the following:
Charge $25 each month
When you use a textual description it will turn off the amount verification check for this product and won’t issue the *verification* failed message.
Option 3: Create a new membership level that has the same permissions as the old one but a new signup price.
