Hi there. We have 2 levels of membership on our site, free and premium. Most premium members pay by paypal first and are then emailed a link to the registration form and that works very well. However, for people wanting to pay manually (by cheque etc), how can we get them registered as a premium member, bypassing the paypal step? Going here will set them up as a free member: [http://communityhub.ie/registration/] Thanks in advance.

If you are using our eStore plugin, you can give them the option of using Manual Checkout:

Once you have verified the cheque payment, you mark the order as “Paid” and everything proceeds as it normally does:

Thanks WZP. Are you saying that I need to install the estore plugin in order to bypass the payment system (Paypal, Clickbank etc) for premium registration?

No, you don’t need to install the estore plugin.

You are handling this payment manually so the plugin actually doesn’t need to know anything about it. After you receive the manual payment (eg. cheque), go to the emember dashboard and create the users account. You (the site admin) has the capability to setup a members account for any level (free or premium).

    Does that make sense?

Of course, didn’t think of that. Thanks a lot for your help.
