I thought I followed your instructions on how to set up a custom email parser in aweber and how to indicate the email list name in aweber that I wanted product purchasers to be added to, but…
When I tested this out, aweber sent the email requesting confirmation to me instead of the customer. It used the email address I had set up as the FROM address to send email to customers.
Please help me figure out what I did wrong so I can fix it. Thanks.
June 7, 2010 at 2:51 am #21436IvyMemberHi, Most of the time this happens when the from email address do not match correctly with the trigger rule:
Can you please check and make sure you have followed this instruction correctly?

July 10, 2010 at 12:29 am #21437chriseggMemberI have a similar issue…set it up the way you instructed, but when I test the system for a purchase or a subscribe option (for free download) it does not put the customers info into my aweber list it uses my From email address and adds me to the aweber list?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

July 10, 2010 at 2:23 am #21438amin007ParticipantCan you please provide the following pieces of information?
1. What value do you have in the “Trigger Rule” field of the email parser on AWeber?
2. What value do you have in the “From Email Address” field of the settings menu of eStore?
3. What version of eStore are you using?
4. Are you using the ajax version of the squeeze page?
July 10, 2010 at 4:08 am #21439chriseggMember1. Trigger Rule: From:[^n|.]+dr@dougwelptonmd.com
2. From Email Address: Dr. Doug Welpton <dr@dougwelptonmd.com>

4. Yes ajax
July 11, 2010 at 12:27 am #21440amin007ParticipantThanks… it looks good to me so not sure why yours is giving you trouble. I will need to take a look at your site to see what else is going on (I will send you an email).
July 13, 2010 at 1:13 am #21441chriseggMemberIS there any news on this? Did you get my login info??
July 13, 2010 at 3:57 am #21442amin007ParticipantI was told by Ivy that she is looking into it. I will check now.
August 15, 2010 at 5:08 pm #21443JakeyMemberHi,
I’m running into a similar situation as chrisegg, except we are not using the squeeze page. For some reason aweber is adding my email address to the list and not the customers.
1. Trigger Rule: From:[^n|.]+admin@winkycontacts.com
2. From Email Address: Admin(WinkyContacts) <admin@winkycontacts.com>
3. eStore Version: v 4.0.7
Any ideas?
Thanks!
Jake
August 16, 2010 at 12:35 am #21444IvyMemberHi Jake, Please see the video “Create an Email Parser” on the following page:
This will walk you though how to create an email parser in AWeber.
Also looks like you may need an update please see the following post on how updates work:

September 2, 2010 at 2:27 pm #21446njevicSpectatorHi – I’m having similar problems getting Aweber to work.
First I had the same issue as above, wherein the email from Aweber came to the email address in the From field.
Then I saw the email Parser instruction, which I followed. When I tested again, I did not receive any message from the Aweber’s autoresponder.
Also, I am using eStore with eMember – which should manage the Autoresponder integration with Aweber (currentl using eMember)?
From in Parser: From:[^n|.]+nick@retainandprofit.com
From email address: Retain and Profit <nick@retainandprofit.com>
Version: 5.6.2 of eMember and 3.9.6 of eStore.
Thanks,
Nick
September 2, 2010 at 2:33 pm #21447njevicSpectator…also, when the confirmation email came to me from me, the email was to “WordPress” from nick@retainandprofit.com from Nick – nick@retainandprofit.com.
September 3, 2010 at 1:28 am #21448amin007ParticipantCan you please edit/open the email parser you have configured and let me know if the “Enable parser for all lists in this account” checkbox checked for this parser?
When you are testing this try to create a real world scenario (for example use a different email address than yours to signup like your customers will do). Also, make sure the email address you are trying to signup is not already in the list. If it’s already in the list then AWeber won’t send any more confirmation and silently ignore the signup request.
September 17, 2010 at 12:20 am #21449njevicSpectatorWe’re all good now. I think I did not have the “Enable parser for all lists in this account” checked.
