Hi,
I am trying to get Aweber integration setup. I have followed the steps of getting the Aweber authorization code – and that part works fine. I have then tried to both add the specific list under my one product I have – and have tried adding the specific list, also, under the Global Aweber List Signup, too. When I do either of these – my purchase goes through fine, and I’m redirected back to my site after the purchase – but I do not get added to the list in aweber. Any idea what might be causing this?
Thanks,
Lance

April 3, 2014 at 2:22 am #62008lance02MemberThanks for the info on the debug method. I did this, and then viewed the debug files – and realized the problem. I was attempting to sign up for an aweber list that I was already on in aweber – and because of that, aweber wasn’t signing me up again. As soon as I used a different email address – everything just worked.
Thank you!!
July 16, 2014 at 3:59 pm #62009alethamcmanamaSpectatorI, too, am experiencing this same problem with a product setup on the WP Estore plugin. I’ve connected the Aweber API number successfully. And I have added the specific Aweber list number to the product like this: awlist3499337@aweber.com.
I also ran a purchase test and retrieved the debug file for this log:
eStore_post_payment_debug.log
And the results of this log are below:
[07/16/2014 3:29 PM] – Advisory : Log file reset.
[07/16/2014 3:39 PM] – SUCCESS :Checking if a key needs to be issued for product id: 22 Requested quantity: 1

[07/16/2014 3:39 PM] – SUCCESS :AWeber API library inclusion succeeded.
[07/16/2014 3:39 PM] – SUCCESS :AWeber account retrieved. Account ID: 790453
[07/16/2014 3:39 PM] – SUCCESS :Attempting to signup the user to the AWeber list: awlist3499337
[07/16/2014 3:39 PM] – FAILURE :Error! Could not find the AWeber list (awlist3499337@aweber.com) in your AWeber Account! Please double check your list name value for typo.
[07/16/2014 3:39 PM] – SUCCESS :Global AWeber list signup option is disabled. No global list signup will be performed.
So knowing that the Aweber signup list number is correct, what could be going wrong?
Let me know when you have a moment.
Thanks!

July 16, 2014 at 5:11 pm #62010shmickParticipantI have the same problem as Aletha. It was working fine, now not.
July 17, 2014 at 12:50 am #62011adminKeymaster@alethamcmanama, AWeber is telling the plugin that the following list name doesn’t exist in your AWeber account:
awlist3499337@aweber.com
So check for a typo in your list name.
July 17, 2014 at 12:52 am #62012July 17, 2014 at 3:52 am #62013shmickParticipantYes, I did that and same result as Aletha’s debug test. So I contacted Aweber, they checked and said everything was fine with the list name. They said to contact you guys.
July 17, 2014 at 4:35 am #62014adminKeymaster@shmick, can you please share a screenshot that shows your the list name in your AWeber account? Also, post a URL to the page where you placed the squeeze form shortcode (so I can do a test and inspect).
July 17, 2014 at 2:03 pm #62015alethamcmanamaSpectatorI’m sorry but I forgot to mention in my request above that the list name is correct. There wasn’t a typo. Here’s a screenshot of my list showing that it’s correct.
Correct Aweber list ID# [awlist3499337@aweber.com]
So what do you think the problem is?
Here’s the URL to the purchase page where someone signs up for the product and should be sent over to the Aweber list: [http://www.angeladurrant.com/28dayvocalbootcamp/]
Thanks!

July 17, 2014 at 2:16 pm #62016alethamcmanamaSpectatorFYI…I believe I also forgot to mention that the Aweber/cart connection used to work, but it just recently quit working.
July 17, 2014 at 3:27 pm #62017shmickParticipantAnd this is the URL to my purchase page (sorry, there is a video at the top of the page that plays automatically):

July 18, 2014 at 12:32 am #62018adminKeymasterI think it will be best if I look at the back-end of your site for this. I will send you emails to organize access to the site.
July 19, 2014 at 12:40 am #62019adminKeymasterFound the issue. You guys entered the AWeber List ID value in the plugin’s settings. The documentation actually says to use the “List Name”. I have a feeling AWeber made some interface changes so this got a little confusing. Anyway, we have updated the plugin so it will work with both the List name or the List ID. So you should be good now.
