Hi –
I am still wrapping my head around WP eMember…
I realized that I am able to integrate Aweber with Paid subscriptions thru eStore and the product info, but I haven’t been able to figure out a way to do this with those who signup for a free membership?
Am I missing something or can someone offer any suggestions?
Thanks!
Tink

January 29, 2010 at 5:22 am #17567TinkBDMemberWonderful! Any ideas on when it will be ready… I might consider delaying my launch…
Thanks,
Tink

January 29, 2010 at 7:20 am #17569TinkBDMemberLOL I understand… I’ll go ahead and implement when you have it ready to go. Let me know.
February 6, 2010 at 6:23 am #17570jtprattMemberMy question is even though you’re adding this in eMember (which I also own) why doesn’t it work in eStore? Meaning, when you setup a product it allows you to add in the Aweber settings, and then using the shortcode for free downloads Aweber notification should automatically work. Or – at least the plugin doesn’t say anywhere “this won’t work”.
so once your fix is in place for emember – to provide free products will we have to use that product for those and only paid products in estore? I just want to be clear on how and where to do what.
Also – why the heck are you using BBpress with it has no email notification whatsoever? The #1 feature of a support forum is “email notification” once someone has replied to your post.
February 10, 2010 at 9:03 pm #17571TinkBDMemberHi Amin – I haven’t implemented yet… any thoughts on when this will be available?
Thanks!

February 11, 2010 at 3:46 pm #17573TinkBDMemberOk, then I’ll just move ahead.
I hope you will be able to make it happen at some point. I think that it makes eMember even more powerful!
Thanks for such wonderful support, Amin and Ivy!

March 1, 2010 at 10:50 pm #17574stefandykeMemberHi there,
Just wondering if there are any updates as to when the Aweber integration might be available for the free membership level? I think this feature is going to be a fantastic addition (and would certainly help me out) so if you have an ETA that would be great.
Thanks,
Stefan

August 5, 2010 at 11:50 pm #17576jalgunnMemberAmin,
I’ve just discovered that free members are not being added to my aWeber list and thus not getting their introductory email series. This is a shame as I have been sending them an email from eMember saying that this will happen !
Checking a few settings I find that I have correctly implemented the instructions given in the eMember documentation, but that autoresponder settings live in eStore not eMember. Then I started looking around the forum and discovered this conversation. I rely heavily on capturing emails and to gently persuade free members to upgrade to paying membership. I need to be able to add free members to the mailing list automatically – I want to heavily promote soon, so what do you suggest ?

I’m using eMember 4.9.4 and eStore 3.9.6
August 6, 2010 at 1:09 am #17577amin007ParticipantIt’s very simple eMember now comes with AWeber integration of it’s own so use that for your free membership. This page should explain how to use AWeber with eMember:
Quick advise: after you set everything up try to give it a quick test so you know that everything is working the way you want it to.
August 6, 2010 at 11:15 am #17578jalgunnMemberHi Amin,
Oh dear, something is not quite right here. I followed the instructions on that page before raising this with you – I note that at Step Two the window is entitled
“WP eMember – Autoresponder settings”
I’m afraid that I have no such page. My Autoresponder settings page is in WP-eStore. I will send you a login by email for my site so that you can see what is installed there.

August 7, 2010 at 12:42 am #17579wpCommerceModeratorClick on the “Settings” of WP eMember. Now you should be able to see a tab called “Autoresponder settings”. If you don’t find it in the settings you might need an update. Please have a look on this post on how to get update –
