If a member stops paying for their membership, will the plugin automatically remove their membership access or does this have to be done manually?
Thank you!
If a paid membership level expires, either because it reaches the end of its term, or because a scheduled recurring payment fails; the actions taken will depend upon how you configure eMember:

But in any case, the expired member record remains in the system, until manually deleted.
The short answer is “yes”.
If the member stops paying for a subscription for example, the access will be stopped automatically.
Fantastic! Thank you for the response.
I assume with the WooCommerce integration (where a product automatically assigns a membership level), that WP eMember plugin cancels the membership level when the product is paid for.
Is this correct?
Yes.
