I see the issue now… you embedded a “Buy Now” type button which is a PayPal feature.
You need to use the “Add to Cart” type buttons so when someone adds the item to the shopping cart the shopping cart can send the user to the appropriate payment gateway. If you don’t know how to setup add to cart type buttons with shopping cart then please see the 2nd video from this page:

August 20, 2011 at 3:02 am #23777mrdanMemberThanks. That fixed it.
February 18, 2012 at 5:23 am #23778JandJMemberHow can I set up a recurring billing using authorize.net… I want to charge 650 upfront and 497 a month but give my client options to chose his payment how can this be made possible?
February 18, 2012 at 11:24 pm #23779adminKeymasterAuthorize.net offers recurring billing via a different API called “ARB” (their recurring billing option is not straight forward like PayPal’s). Check this post for ARB integration:

July 9, 2014 at 11:57 pm #23780ProjectsmadesimpleMemberOne of my clients is having the same issues and have read through this and other forum posts and can not find out why it is forcing the add to cart to go straight to paypal. In October of last year we had to do the turn off “encrypted website payment” and “fancy checkout redirection”
Yes I know we are using buy now buttons, but they were the designers work around to making sure it always went to authorize.

Currently using:
[wp_eStore_buy_now_for_specific_gateway id=”26″ gateway=”authorize”]
Would like to be able to take this product to the cart, and then to authorize.
July 10, 2014 at 1:49 am #23781adminKeymasterI just checked that page where you have the buy now button for authorize.net gateway and I got sent to the authorize.net payment page correctly. Are you seeing a caching issue by any chance?
November 10, 2014 at 8:08 pm #23782ForeverbarcelonaMemberI’m having the same problem: I only want to use Authorize.net, but I keep being sent to Paypal. These are my settings:
– Paypal and Multiple: unchecked
– Authorize: checked and info entered
– fancy checkout redirection: unchecked
– non-encrypted website payment: off
Cart link: [http://www.foreverbarcelona.com/test/]
Code in cart page: [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1]
Checkout page: [http://www.foreverbarcelona.com/checkout/]
Code in checkout page: [wp_eStore_cart]
Server: WP Engine
I’ll appreciate your help.
Thank you,
Marta

I’m implementing the plugin on my multi-language site now, and I’m again being sent to paypal instead of Authorize.net. Can you check it out, please? Thank you!
