Hello,
i have purchased the Wp e-store and E-Stamper plugins.
I sell a pack with a PDF file + 2 Word Documents
First, when i have installed this plugins in my website, they worked!! No problem. The PDF file was stamped, and everything was great.
But i day, i have tried to stamp manually the PDF file, and an error occured.
_The message was:
“Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /home/resetthe/public_html/du-salariat-au-business.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/lib/fpdi/fpdi.php on line 0”
From this day when you make a purchase in my website, you receive an e-mail with 3 links (this is normal):
_ Two links to download the 2 Word Documents, which are working great….No problem with this.
_1 link for the PDF file, which isn’t working. When you click in the link to download the PDF file, you have this message:
“Download file cannot be found. Please let us know. Thank you!”
But i’m sure, the file exists in the folder.
You have to know that when i disable the PDF STAMPER in “Wp e-store,your product, edit, addon settings”, the link to download the PDF File is working!
And, i have a e-store post-payment debug text. This is :
[04/19/2011 8:13 AM] – SUCCESS :Generating download link for multi part file.
[04/19/2011 8:13 AM] – SUCCESS :Stamping the PDF file if WP PDF stamper plugin is installed.

April 19, 2011 at 10:36 am #31525wzpModeratorHi Marc,
The reason eStore reports it can’t find the file, is because PDF Stamper couldn’t successfully stamp the original file; resulting in no stamped output file eStore could deliver. When you disabled stamping for the file, eStore delivered the unstamped version.
The crux of the problem is that your server ran out of Memory that could be allocated to PHP. Since the stated limit of 67,108,864 bytes is pretty generous and the request for only 262,144 bytes is not unreasonable; and that you stated that …it no longer works… we need to examine what happened to the memory allocation.
Between the time it was working and now, did you add any new theme, plugins or scripts to your WP setup?
April 19, 2011 at 11:32 am #31526marc marcMemberI juste add the “like” plugin for facebook, askimet.
I have done the same thing in my other website, and there isn’t any problem.
My website isn’t full of plugin, pictures, pages…is very simple.
April 19, 2011 at 12:36 pm #31527wzpModeratorAre you only having problems with that particular PDF file? Can you manually stamp other files?
April 19, 2011 at 2:54 pm #31528marc marcMemberHi,
i have just tried to stamp manually 1 over PDF file…and it’s ok!! The stamp works for this other file…and it works with wp e-store after a purchase when i have changed the PDF file!
SO ?
April 19, 2011 at 2:59 pm #31529wzpModeratorIt may have something to do with the contents of the PDF file. What program did you use to create the file, and is there a way to recreate the file?
April 19, 2011 at 3:13 pm #31530marc marcMemberHi,
i have just tried to stamp manually 1 over PDF file…and it’s ok!! The stamp works for this other file…and it works with wp e-store after a purchase when i have changed the PDF file!
I’m working with PDF Adobe
SO ?
April 19, 2011 at 3:52 pm #31531marc marcMemberSO i recreate the PDF file, and now the manual stamp doesn’t work!
I have this message:
An error occurred while trying to stamp the file!
Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 67108864 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 262144 bytes) in /home/resetthe/public_html/du-salariat-au-business.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-pdf-stamper/lib/fpdi/fpdi.php on line 0
It works with others PDF files (463 Ko), but not with the PDF file i want(this is my e-book, 1.33 Mo).
April 19, 2011 at 3:57 pm #31532wzpModeratorAmin might want to examine this file, but when you mentioned the size, I suspect it may have something to do with the content. he’ll be in, later today.
April 19, 2011 at 4:04 pm #31533marc marcMemberNo, with an another file about 934 Ko it works, so the size isn’t important!
April 19, 2011 at 6:16 pm #31534marc marcMemberI have recreated the PDF file, now it’s working, with the stamper.
But, i have tried it 12 times.
11 succesfully, and 1 with the problem.
Is it normal?
I thnik it’s not normal, and You ?
April 19, 2011 at 6:20 pm #31535wzpModeratorI suspect there is a resource availability problem going on. Amin can elaborate, when he gets in.
April 19, 2011 at 10:01 pm #31536marc marcMemberSo what must i do please ?
April 19, 2011 at 10:19 pm #31537wzpModeratorwait until Amin reads this thread. He is in the Australian time zone…
April 20, 2011 at 12:24 am #31538amin007ParticipantFirst of all you have to understand that when PHP complains about out of memory issue it is not referring to your disk space. It is referring to the allocated RAM memory (this is different than your hard disk space).
With that said, every plugin you add to your site consumes so much of your memory in order to run. You are bordering on your limit here so you need to contact your hosting provider to increase the PHP memory allocation. In your php.ini file there is an entry called “memory_limit” which controls how much memory PHP can use. Increase the value of that field. Your hosting provider will know what to do.
