as the topic title says I activated custom field tracking on the affiliate plugin and now my side widget doesnt display properly.
I have a widget that I use as a menu, everything is fine on all pages except the refferals tab of the embedded affilate section (on that section the widget appears under the embedded affiliate section).
I turned of the custom field tracking and it still doesn’t display correctly.
Any idea why this might be happening.
Regards
Dave
January 17, 2013 at 5:33 am #53097adminKeymasterThe custom field tracking needs more space to show the info. It is likely the body of your WordPress page (where you embedded the affiliate area) is too narrow for this. If your theme is using a narrow body width then use the standalone affiliate area method (option 1) and you won’t face this issue:

If you post a link to your affiliate area with the login details of a test affiliate account I will be able to check it and confirm this for you.
January 17, 2013 at 4:02 pm #53098worldwebMemberI use the builder theme so I added an extra 200px to the layout so the main content area is an extra 200px and still the problem persists
Yes it is embedded

January 17, 2013 at 11:19 pm #53100worldwebMemberPS. on another note, I was reading about a satelite plugin for the affiliate platform, is there a page where I can purchase or download it
January 18, 2013 at 2:41 am #53101adminKeymasterThat paged seemed to be under eMember protection? I tried the details you shared above but it won’t let me log in.
Regarding the satellite plugin. Please use the contact form on our site to contact us for it.

January 19, 2013 at 3:13 am #53103adminKeymasterThank you. I had a look… I can’t see any obvious issue but I am pretty sure some HTML element is not closed properly on that page which is causing this rendering issue (the widget is going below the body).
To me it looks like you have done some customization to the affiliate plugin which may have introduced the errors. So the first thing you should do is load a fresh copy of the affiliate plugin:

January 19, 2013 at 3:59 pm #53104worldwebMemberno I have never modified any any of the code to your plugins but have uploaded new versions of all 3 I got today.
Thanks for taking the time to look into this for me
