Hi,
I’ve been doing some test payments recently and they are being attributed to one of my affiliates.
Is there a way in which I can easily stop this from happening? I’ve deleted cookies from my browser, but it’s still happening. I assume my IP address has been associated with this affiliate – is there a way in which I can remove this?
From looking at the database it seems that the wp_affiliates_clickthroughs_tbl table stores the IP address – is it in here that I need to look?
Thanks for your help.

April 18, 2010 at 6:04 pm #19751LeonardiMemberThanks, it seems to be working now – I recently switched to Google Chrome and it seems that clearing the web history (with delete cookies checked) wasn’t clearing my affiliate’s cookie for some reason.
I located and deleted the cookie directly and that seems to have sorted it out.
I have another quick question – I’m having the same problem as that mentioned in: https://support.tipsandtricks-hq.com/forums/topic/is-it-possible-to-turn-off-email-notification-from-estore-on-membership-items#post-2827
I’ll include the details below for convenience:
—
I am using eStore and eMember together selling memberships and individual download items. When going through the purchasing membership/signup process I recieve 3 emails plus the paypal receipt email.
The list of emails:
#1.)An email from eStore telling me thanks for the purchase and here is a link to the download (but there is no download).
#2.)An email from eMember giving me the link to complete the membership registration.
#3.)An email notifying me that the registration is complete with my login details etc.
#4.) the paypal receipt email.
Is there a way to disable sending email #1 on specific products in eStore (like the membership product)?

In your response you say that you can “uncheck the ‘Send Emails to Buyer After Purchase’ field which should stop the #1 email that gets sent from eStore.”
The problem is that I’d still like this email to be sent by eStore when people buy indivudual products – is there a way in which this email can be turned off when someone purchases a membership, but sent when someone buys an individual product?
Thanks for your help.

Is there a way in which this email can be turned off when someone purchases a membership, but sent when someone buys an individual product? – Nope, this is not possible. The email that eStore sends for every purchase is more of a purchase notification. It doesn’t hurt to have it there.
