Hi there. The plug-in is brilliant. Thanks!

    Two questions:

    1. As well as digital downloads, I have a book which I’m offering to sign personally and send out in the postal service. So, I need to use WP e-Store for the cart, etc. But at the same time, I need to know what the person wants me to sign in the book, and of course I need the postal address details. What’s the best way to do this? Obviously I can create a separate form, but that would require the person to submit the form separately from the cart side of things, and if a lot of people responded, I could get things in a mess! Is there a way to ‘connect’ the two operations together? If not, is there a neat way of making this work?

    2. If I got this sorted out, and dedicated an entire page to this one product and its details, am I able to put other products (ie my digital downloads) on other pages and have them all going to the same cart/check-out?

Many thanks. Sorry if these are ‘obvious’ questions, but I’m a newbie to all of this!

    Hi,

1a. I think the best way to do this would be to use the PayPal customer input. In PayPal before the customer checks out they can leave you a note that will be sent with the PayPal receipt.

1b. As for the shipping you can use an email tag to display the shipping address in the email that you receive from the eStore. You can find all the email tags here:

WP eStore Shortcodes and Functions Reference

    2. Yes they would share the same cart/checkout as long as you are using Add to cart buttons.

You can read more about the different button types here:
