Hello John Sutton, I just did a test on a mobile phone and my laptop. The shopping cart is not working on either. You are already aware that it does not work on a mobile device but you did mentioned that it is working when viewed through your laptop. However from my test, it is not working on my laptop.

Please read the following URL it will help you to create an add to cart button.

How to Show Add to Cart buttons Using the WordPress eStore Shopping Cart Plugin

Let us know how you go with the above.

    Kind regards

mbrsolution is correct. Your add to cart buttons are not working at all (it has nothing to do with iPhones). The behavior it is showing looks like a caching or PHP session issue.

Are you using a caching plugin? If you are then which one?

The caching plugin I’m using is wp-supercache.

Thank you both for your help.

Hello John have you checked the following URL.

Using the Plugins Together with WP Super Cache Plugin

I also noticed that you previously had problems as mentioned in the following Support Ticket? Did you resolve that problem?

    Google Chrome

    Kind regards

Regarding super cache and eStore, I followed the suggestions in the workaround found here…

WP Shopping Cart and WP Super Cache Workaround

Afterwards I was able to add product to the cart from my phone.

Would you please check again and see if you can add product to the cart now as well?

Another thing, I seem to remember having conflicts with supercache on another site and ended up using W3 Total Cache. Any opinions on using one over the other with respect to eStore?

    Thank you very much.

Hi John I performed another test on my iPhone 3GS and it works great, well done ;)

In regards to which is the best cache plugin? I can safely say that all cache plugins perform their job correctly. Some work better in different environments while others don’t. So it comes down to trying all and keeping the one that works well for you.

The following are the cache plugin I would recommend to anyone. I have tested all and as I mentioned above some perform better depending on the environment and the configuration.

    1)W3 Total Cache

    2)WP Super Cache

    3)Hyper Cache

    4)WP Fastest Cache

One last plugin that is coming back but remember they have removed some great features from the free version and added them to the commercial version of the plugin is.

    5)Quick Cache (Speed Without Compromise)

I hope the above list provides you with more choices and helps you make a better decision in the future with cache plugins.

    Kind regards

    Hi!

Yes the previous issue with Chrome was resolved.

And thank you too for the recommendations on the various caching plugins.

I hope 2014 is a good year for you in all respects.

    John
