Trying to test just one digital product to set up Estore. Followed instructions for entering amazons3 details for a single mp4 video. Then set up a test Product page with two basic shortcodes as follows:

    [wp_eStore_cart]

    [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1]

But when I visit the page and press the button, it says “Quantity 1”, but also says

” Cart is empty”. Page address is [http://barnyardbirthday.co/?page_id=24]

    Thanks for your help.

Hi Sophie1, please read the following URL

Estore add to cart button not working

Have you fully watched the following video tutorial and set it up?

After you have read throught the above URL double check your your amazon3 settings again. Please read the following URL.

Amazon Web Services Simple Storage Service (AWS S3) Integration

Let us know if that helps you.

    Kind regards

I had already tried your solution before posting here, and it didnt work. I tried it again just to be sure, and it still doesnt work.

Here is my product page code:

    Andrew [wp_eStore_add_to_cart id=1]

    here is my checkout code:

    [wp_eStore_cart]

My site is barnyardbirthday.co. I have done both things, namely, I checked the automatic redirection box in the Estore settings, and I created the separate checkout page with the above code. What could possibly be the problem? I need to resolve this and move on. Thanks.

    @sophie1

When I visit the page, and click the “Add to Cart” button, it does show one item in the cart. As far as I can see, it is working fine. Are you sure your are not confusing the “Empty Cart icon” in the lower right corner for a “no items in cart message?”

To answer your question, YES, I am ABSOLUTELY confusing the “Empty Cart” icon in the lower right corner for a “no items in cart” message. You’re saying that when I click the add to cart button, estore correctly displays a shopping cart icon with a red X and a rollover message that says “empty cart”? (I always thought the internet was way over my head, but now I’m sure of it.)

Anyway, thank you for clearing that up for me.
