Tagged: add to cart button not working
I have estore premium. We had a customer write us today who tried to buy, but the “add to cart” button just blinked back to the “add to cart” button. Now I don’t get that on my system, it works. But my business partner also gets that on hers. This may or may not be related but the QUANTITY Heading is not displaying when the shopping cart does show up, and also I am not able to add more than one product to the shopping cart/
Ran out of words. the shopping cart is at [www.thefreshfoodchef.com] and I will be working on it all night long, so I don’t know if you can help me, since I definitely hope to have this fixed (or a different shopping cart installed) within 24 hours. But if you get this in a short time, I would very much appreciate the help in getting it to work. The hard part is the error is intermitent, it only shows up on other people’s system. It works fine on my system. So I have to keep asking them to test. When it does show up on my system, there’s another error in that the quantity heading is not displaying, and you are only allowed to put 1 item in the shopping cart, so quanity function is not working at all, really.
Please do the following:
1) Create a new WordPress page called “Checkout” and place the following shortcode in this page:
[wp_eStore_cart]
2) Go to eStore’s settings and specify the URL of the page (created in step 1) in the following field:
Checkout Page
3) Now, check the “Automatic redirection to checkout page” field.
This will make it so whenever someone adds an item to the cart, it will automatically get redirected to the checkout page where the shopping cart will contain the item added to the cart.
Regarding the 2nd issue (quanity related)… it looks like you may have checked the following settings in eStore:
Do Not Show Quantity in Shopping Cart
Why did you check that settings if you don’t want it?
Let me know how you go with the above info.
