After successfully using the wp-estore shortcode [wp_eStore:product_id:1:end] to sell a membership program integrated with wishlist and aweber (it worked great), I tried again to sell an separate membership level and did everything the same at http://corewellnessinstitute.com/detoxweight-loss-info-page-test

But after clicking the button, it just acts like it’s loading but never goes to paypal. I also embedded by previously successful button on the same page with the same results…no clickthrough to payapal.

I ran into this once before and by removing the “subscribe to comments reloaded” plugin was conflicting with it. However…I went through and deactivated all plugins added since my successful launch with no luck.

I am using the latest version of the wp-estore.

    Please advise! Thank you.

Have you placed a shopping cart on the page in question so it can show the items that you are adding to the cart? For example the following shortcode:

    [wp_eStore_cart]

Here is the difference between “add to cart” and “buy now” type buttons:

Using the buy now or subscription shortcode solved my problem.

However…previosly when I used the [wp_eStore:product_id:1:end] shortcode it went straight to a paypal page for the shopping cart instead of having to go to a shopping cart on my site…interesting.

    Thanks

Glad to hear that you figured it out. You most likely mixed the shortcodes up a bit. The “add to cart” buttons will always add the item to the shopping cart (not send directly to PayPal).
