I have changed my primary email in Pay Pal and deleted the old one (in paypal).

In WP eStore Settings v 6.4.0, under Payment Gateway Settings I have entered the new Paypal Email Address/Secure Merchant ID.

However, now when payments are made they go to the old pay pal email. How is this possible?

    Thanks

    Hi,

Are you using a caching plugin of any kind?

    No.

The only plugin is WP eStore. I also waited 24 hours to see if there was any caching going on, but it still happens.

The Gateway settings are correct in WP eStore. I checked in pay-pal and the only email address is the new one. It makes me think the old address is hiding somewhere in the WP eStore folder somewhere. It is beginning to be a real problem.

    Hi,

Can you please enable debug as per the link below and then share the output of the ipn_handle_debug.log

Please post a link to the page where you have the button. Have you specified a different PayPal email address for the product in question?

The link for the product I am testing is http://dancingonwaves.com/?page_id=226

(I will refund if you purchase)

Not sure what you mean by specifying a different paypal email address for the product in question?

The paypal email address is in the gateway settings of the plugin not in the product section.

    Hi,

For starters your current paypal account is not clearing the funds.

This is something you need to check with Paypal.

    The following post may help:

The funds are in the account. I can see them. They just go to the old email address. The address I test from is not a confirmed shipping address and my Payment Receiving Preferences is set to to manually accept or deny each of these payments. So I think it is normal to have the funds not clear at first.

I spoke to paypal, they told me that it was normal that the funds are not clearing as they are dollars into a euro account and I have not accepted them. They assured me that the only email I have in my account is the new pixifishfilms one and that the old lightboxparis one showing up after a purchase must be still active or cashed in my site.

    So, what can we do?

The funds need to be cleared before eStore will deliver the products (otherwise the buyer can reverse the fund as soon as they get the links before you get a chance to accept the fund manually). You can’t run an online shop where you have to go and accept the money every time someone makes a payment. eStore is meant to run in an automated fashion while protecting you from scammers. Contact PayPal and tell them what you have to do so that funds get cleared after a payment (this is how all proper merchant’s PayPal account is configured).

It was just because of all the testing I set it up like that. Now it automatically accepts payments. However, it does not help my problem and it has been a few days I am being held up because of this.

I just made a payment to pixifishfilms.com as is entered in WP-eStore.

This is the email I got back…

You sent a payment of $0.01 USD to LIGHTBOX (info@lightboxparis.com)

Very confusing for the buyer, the lightbox email is not anywhere in my paypal account. it must be somewhere in a cache in WP-eStore.

    please help
