Thank you very much! I rechecked all my steps and the Third Party Integration button in WP affiliate was not enabled. I reran my test from freebie to sale, and the commission tracked correctly!
Now that PDT is fully integrated with WP affiliate, does that still mean I have to add the extra line of scripting to the PayPal buttons for Wishlist?
Am I correct in assuming that future freebies in LeadPages will work with WP Affiliate as long as I use the LeadPage plugin to replicate the LeadPage as a WordPress page?
Thank you for your help!

By freebie, I mean that if you go to the home page, [http://herbiznow.com/] you can download a free report and get it delivered to you via AWeber. There is no sales button with a zero fee on the page to get the free report. It is just an opt-in form in the widgets. I made a text link with [http://herbiznow.com/] as the sales page URL. Is this incorrect?
1) Here is the link to the landing page with the payment button. [http://herbiznow.com/lets-go/] I was not actually using the current buy now buttons, but rather a link with the product price listed as $1 for the purposes of the test. I added the PayPal email link: [https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=XFPYF7KXJDQNE] for the test and bought off of that button. However, I am also using WishList with this site and did not add the following short code to the test buy button: <input type=”hidden” name=”custom” value=”[wp_aff_custom_args]”/> I found that short code after my test when I reviewed this article about Wishlist integration: https://www.tipsandtricks-hq.com/wordpress-affiliate/wishlist-members-plugin-and-wp-affiliate-plugin-integration-723 Could that be part of the problem?
2) I am using PayPal for eCommerce.
3) I’m not sure which integration options I’ll need to set up for sure. At the point of the test I had only integrated WP affiliate with PayPal by adding the PayPal PDT Identity Token. I did not know at that point that I might need to add integration with Wishlist. I am currently using WP Affiliate, PayPal, Wishlist, and AWeber.
Thank you for your help!
June 24, 2015 at 3:34 am in reply to: Affiliates getting commission after customer opts in on leadpages #65907writingeditingMemberI want to know if WP affiliate will track an affiliate link for a freebie on a WordPress home page or LeadPage and track all the way to the sale when cookies are set to 365 days. I tested this by changing my product on my sales page to $1. I then logged in as an affiliate and copied just the URL part of the text link: [http://herbiznow.com/?ap_id=writing_editing]. Without clearing my browser, I went to the regular sales page and bought the product for $1. I should have received a notice from WP affiliate that I received a 35% commission, but I did not receive a notice. When I logged into my affiliate center, I saw that WP affiliate tracked the freebie click but not the sale. Am I correct in understanding that WP Affiliate should track the freebie all the way to the sale? If this is correct, how do I re-test so that the commission comes through?
The freebie needs to work in WordPress or on a freebie page created with LeadPages and re-created in WordPress with the LeadPage plugin.
Will WP affiliate only track the sales link directly and not the freebie to the sales page? Please clarify.
