Just wanted to post an update.
I put in the PayPal PDT token in the Settings and it seems to have made a difference. In the setup instructions, it seemed rather ambiguous as to whether this was needed for all format or not. But I figured I would give it a try. I can even see the info from last Friday where we were testing it.
So I can see affiliate click referrals now in the system. But what doesn’t seem to work is credit for the payment plan I have setup (basically a 6 month subscription in PayPal). I’d like for people to receive commission every month for each subscription payment as it’s made.
I can actually see that the affiliate gets credit for the sale, but there is a 0 under commission instead of 8.50 or so that they should be getting.
Thanks!
txblondMemberHi
I think maybe I was trying to over-complicate things with the two different sites. It’s not crucial that the members of the site get an automatic affiliate signup so I’m going to try to make this easier.
I’ve installed the affiliate plugin on the main site where the product is sold [http://www.raisingrabbitsessentials.com/buy] which has OptimizePress on it. The button on that page is optimized to send the IPN to Wishlist and then redirects to the registration page for the ecourse.
I’ve tried installing the PHP plugin & doing the setup as mentioned above, but it’s not working. Clearly I must be missing a step.
Thanks!
