On reflection, basically what I want to be able to do is to create two login forms – one as I have at present for ‘website membership’, the other being a login where I send previous guests a username and password which enables them to be directed to a different set of offers on a different hidden, secure page, ‘special-offers-for-returning-guests’
Is it possible to have two different ‘free’ membership options? I’m not selling anything on my website but I have a different range of special offers and incentives for people who sign up with their email address and register for ‘website membership’ and for those who have previously been guests in our B&B. I want the registration form and the login form to show a drop-down with two free membership levels: ‘website membership’ and ‘previous guest’. If they register as a previous guest then, when I receive the notification email, I want to be able to send them a login password which gives them access to a different set of offers on a hidden, secure page. Do I need to buy eStore to do something like this, or can it be done just with eMembership? If a ‘website membership’ leads to the person becoming a B&B guest, I presume from the conversation above that I would have to delete them from the ‘website membership’ list so that they can be re-registered as a ‘previous guest’.
