    Hi Amin,

Is there a way to have eStore *not* send the email? The subscriber has little incentive to complete the double opt-in if they already have the email…

Ideally I’d like to do this:

    1) Page visitor fills in the details in the squeeze form.

    2) The squeeze form adds the contact *and details from the form** to the autresponder

    4) The autoresponder sends in the double opt-in email

    5) The user confirms the autoresponder signup

    6) Autoresponder send them a link that expires after 24 hours…

    Is this workable?

    Hi bizmum,

I’m working on integrating s2Member and WP Affliate myself: How has this worked for you?

Ideally, it would look like this:

companysite.com is the main corporate site, and http://www.productA.com, and http://www.productB.com would be two individual product sites. All three would be on the same WP Network.

The goal is to let affiliates sign up once (preferably through companysite.com) and be able to sell both products by sending traffic directly to each individual product site (www.productA.com or http://www.productB.com).

Since the products are related and will attract the same affilates, we’d rather not make them sign up twice, and have to manage it from our end through two admin areas.

Thanks for the reply, but I wasn’t talking about on-site URLs, just wanted to have the links pointing to my site look more like natural links, without my affiliates having to go through the trouble.

    Similar question here…

We have three sites and would like to open affiliate programs for all three together (same market).

Each site in the WP network would have its own domain (through a plugin): Will your affiliate plugin track sales across three sites and report (for admin and for affiliates) where each sale was made?

    Thanks

What a dolt I am… Of course it’s the server, not my PC.

Thanks for your patience with this. Loving the plug-in and your timely support as well.

    Cheers,

Makes sense, but my system clock and time zone are correct. I’m Pacific, which is -8 hours GMT… The plug-in is +8 hours from my system time (i.e. the plug-in is working on GMT). What could cause this?

OK, I did another test, and this one tracked the sales and commission. I think it may have been because I had the Mailchimp integration activated: I had NOT clicked the first checkbo, but HAD checked the second under the “Autoresponder Settings” tab from the Settings menu of eStore.

    Does that make sense?

Also, How can I adjust the time zone for the affiliate & estore plugins? They are about 8 hours ahead of me (PST) and my WP setting.

Thanks for your help: These are awesome plugins!

BTW, could the Mailchimp link be the issue? That would have been the next line, I think. I’ve since disabled it…

    Hi,

Yes, I followed those steps for the test that resulted in that log.

    Here’s the landing page:

(note that the last series of log entries were for a sale not through an affiliate link)

Sorry: My Mistake — I was looking at the wrong entry…

Here is the error line for the sale that did not get tracked:

    <–snip–>

[03/01/2010 5:51 AM] – SUCCESS :Updating Products, Customers, Coupons, Sales Database Tables with Sales Data.

[03/01/2010 5:51 AM] – SUCCESS :Products, Customers, Coupons, Sales Database Tables Updated.

[03/01/2010 6:58 AM] – SUCCESS :Paypal Class Initiated by 66.211.170.66

    [03/01/2010 6:58 AM] – SUCCESS :Post string : mc_gross=-

    <–snip–>

The log stops at “Products, Customers, Coupons, Sales Database Tables” and then re-starts an hour later when I processed the refund (since it was a test, and the sale had not shown up in the system).

Sales since then seem to be checking in with the Affiliate plug in no problem:

[03/01/2010 11:09 PM] – SUCCESS :Products, Customers, Coupons, Sales Database Tables Updated.

[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] – SUCCESS :MailChimp signup operation performed. Return value is: 1

[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] – SUCCESS :Updating Affiliate Database Table with Sales Data if Using the WP Affiliate Platform Plugin.

[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] – SUCCESS :WP Affiliate Platform is installed, registering sale…

[03/01/2010 11:10 PM] – SUCCESS :No Referrer Found. This is not an affiliate sale

    Thanks
