I think that when someone is wrong they should admit it. Amin, I was wrong. I really appreciate the help, that fixed the problem….I can’t believe I overlooked something like that. Thanks for all the prompt responses.
Ranger175MemberWell, the problem I’m running into is that the URL being generated isn’t correct.
It is generating: [http://www.texastacticalhats.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates/www.TexasTacticalHats.com/?ap_id=test999]
The this doesn’t seem to be a conflict between “www” or “non-www” urls.
But it’s generating a link that includes: [http://www.texastacticalhats.com/wp-content/plugins/wp-affiliate-platform/affiliates/]
instead of just [www.TexasTacticalHats.com/?ap_id=test999]
I thought that adding the “/” into the url manually would make a difference but it didn’t.
Ranger175Memberamin007,
The reason why you can go to “http://www.asprinklingofmagic.com/?ap_id=saraphis” just fine is because if you don’t add the “/” after the domain name, it doesn’t autopopulate when the affiliate link is created.
Also, in the affiliate center, if an affiliate clicks on their affiliate link it doesn’t open correctly. – Can you please address this?
These are much easier fixes than all of the apache stuff you mentioned and it would have saved me a lot of time.
Thanks,
Adam.
