I’m sending this again because I have some new information that may help you.
I’ve installed wp affiliate platform on my website and while it is tracking clicks, it is not tracking sales and commissions. The debug file is showing this:
[04/01/2012 12:17 AM] – SUCCESS :Contact Form 7 Lead capture data. Name: James Raine | Email: webprojames@yahoo.com | Affiliate ID: | Contact Form Reference ID: 420
[04/01/2012 12:17 AM] – SUCCESS :Capturing lead with the name. Name: James Raine
[04/01/2012 12:17 AM] – SUCCESS :Lead captured in the leads database table. Lead email: [webprojames@yahoo.com]
[04/02/2012 7:56 PM] – SUCCESS :Start processing remote commission tracking request…
[04/02/2012 7:56 PM] – SUCCESS :POST data: 4f774f41aba3b|plr4you|%%productprice%%|%%customerreceipt%%|%%productname%%|%%customeremail%%
[04/02/2012 7:56 PM] – SUCCESS :Validating Request Data
[04/02/2012 7:56 PM] – SUCCESS :Calling process commission function.
[04/02/2012 7:56 PM] – SUCCESS :Referrer: plr4you, Sale Amount: %%productprice%%, Transaction ID: %%customerreceipt%%Item ID: %%productname%%, Buyer Email: %%customeremail%%, Custom Commission Rate:
[04/02/2012 7:56 PM] – SUCCESS :The sale has been registered in the WP Affiliate Platform Database for referrer: plr4you with amount: 0
[04/02/2012 7:56 PM] – SUCCESS :Commission awarded!
It appears from the debug file that it is working, but it is not recording.
I’m using PayPal Integration Option 1. For my test, I came in under my test affiliate’s ID, selected my test product, made the purchase through PayPal and received the PayPal download page and made the download. So that part is working great. I’m also using DLGuard, and I know the download process is working, but do you think it could be something in the redirection that is causing the issue?
I also bought an interface file that is suppose to link wp affiliate platform and DLGuard. I can send you that file if you like. In the instructions, it only had me insert two pieces of information into th wp affiliate platform file – the secret code and post url from wp affiliate.
The only other change it had me make was adding on line 36 of the mytemplate.html in the dlg folder: <IFRAME NAME=”vote1″ SRC=”YOURDOMAIN.COM/path/to/wp-affiliate-platform-dlguard.php?price=$%%productprice%%&product_name=%%productname%%&buyer_email=%%customeremail%%&trans=%%customerreceipt%%” WIDTH=”0″ HIEGHT=”0″ FRAMEBORDER=”0″></IFRAME>.
As noted in the instructions, I replaced the YOUR DOMAIN.COM/pat/to/ . . . with [http://www.newplr4you.com/dlg/templates/wp-affiliate-platform-dlguard.php]
When I go to the stats page, it is showing the clicks, but no sales or commission data. What triggers the generation of that data? Any ideas what I should do next?
I’m not new to WordPress, but I am when it comes to setting up an affiliate site. Can you tell me what other information you need to help me out? Thanks!
Ron
