I found the issue, which led me to a new question that i posted in the PDF stamper section, but will post here incase anyone else has this problem.
I’m using the eStore along with the PDF Stamper and once I applied the pdf stamper, the donwload links weren’t being sent anymore. I Turned off the PDF stamper and it started working again. Going thru the checklist for PDF errors, I came across this…
Checklist 4. Make sure your original PDF file can be accessed from the browser. If you place the file in some password protected directory then the PDF stamper won’t be able to open it.
The PDF file also need to be hosted on your server (where the PDF stamper is installed). PDF Stamper needs to modify the file in order to stamp it and the plugin can only modify files that reside in the same server (modifying files outside of your server is not permitted for security reasons).
So is the PDF Stamper not usable if I’m using AmazonS3 to host my files, as recommended in the WP eStore?
