Yes it does, as long as it is specifically copied as a shortcut.
The problem seems to be clicking on the link from gmail in that browser.
journalinaboxMemberOkay. I spent some time this morning testing all 7 methods. Method 7 doesn’t work at all. (Probably don’t have the cURL configuration.)
The conclusion for all other 6 methods is this: they all work fine using every email program I have set up (MS Outlook, Mozilla Thunderbird, Yahoo Mail) in every browser…EXCEPT using the Gmail program in IE8. It seems to be a conflict with Gmail and IE8. I can use Gmail in Firefox and Chrome and the download works beautifully, but with Gmail in IE8, it does the same thing every time, using all 6 methods. It opens a separate window and puts a bar across the top of the window asking for permission to download. When granted permission, it works for a second, then comes up with a screen that only says “Copyright 2002-2011 Google Inc.” and no download. Plus, when I click back to the original window it has done a force-log-out at Gmail. Any thoughts? Thanks for your help so far!
journalinaboxMemberOkay. I will have to try that.
Re: the searching problem. That worked and I am now able to search. Thanks!

I’m not aware if we do. I do not know what a caching plugin is.
