Thanks, I did not know about requesting updates. I was sent the update and now the quantity feature appears.
oops, maybe it is not ajax add to cart.
please ignore if it is not ajax.
In addition to my last post.
I have tried editing the code for the regular button by adding a text field <input type=”text” value=”1″ name=”quantity”/>, but this does not work. Although it does add a text field to the form, it does not change the quantity added to the cart, and the extra input is treated like a variation.
So how can I have a “add to cart” button as well as “quantity” text field on a product page?
Any help appreciated, to me this seem like standard cart procedure for many types of products.
Firstly, great product. I love how much more flexible it is.
I too cannot find how to add a quantity field next to the “add to cart” button.
We are selling physical items, and usually they will buy more than 1 at a time. (imagine that i sell bricks)
I tried Paolo’s suggestion of [wp_eStore:product_id:1 quantity:yes :end], but that did nothing.
I have looked into the “Inventory Control” but there is nothing there that helps me with the correct shortcode to add a quantity form field.
Is there an update I am missing? Do I need to customize a file? I have no problem customizing a file by the way.
thanks
