Alas, it’s me again. Pulling hair out.

I can’t seem to establish an FTP connection. I read that wordpress.com sites do not have FTP access, because they are free blogs and we are limited to what’s available on the Dashboard? In any case, the FTP errors (from FileZilla) are to the effect of “connection refused”. Seems my credentials are fine, I’m just not allowed in.

I’m sorry I’m a dummy at this, and I really appreciate your patience/help!

OK You’re going to think I’m dumb… I followed the instructions in that I deactivated and then deleted the plugin. It no longer showed on my Plugin menu at all. I then attempted to reinstall, getting the above error. After the error was returned, I deleted the updated plugin from the list as well, with the intention of re-attempting installation.

Funny thing, though, after deleting the updated plugin, the plugin is still fully functional, with all its information, even though it does not show up on the plugins menu?

I imagine this means it still exists in the WP Plugins directory, but how would I go about getting to that directory to delete it? The site is not housed on my local computer.
