What release version of eMember is this in? I have 5.5.0 but am not using it because the update profile functionality isnt working with it.

Wow… Everytime I ask for help on here, I find it out for myself within 5 minutes. This is of course after 3 straight hours of trying to figure it out. Wow. :(

Yes, I did that initially, then manually searched. What number line is it appearing in?

    Hi… Thanks for the response.

However, I’m not seeing the file limit. I see the function, just no reference to any file limit or even 2048. I’m using eMember 5.4.5

    Thanks.

Yes. The membername would be displayed along with the account expiration, etc, once logged in.

Sorry, I wasn’t exactly clear… That code changes the widget title to be “Welcome (username)!” once logged in, as opposed to keeping the “Member Login” widget title.

Nevermind… I found a solution that uses the old code and all is well in the world again.

I think the Admins are working on this now… I had the same request about 5 days ago, but using it with SimplePress.

Right. It’s just that, to expand the functionality of “also creating a wordpress users” and being able to use this plugin alongside other plugins, ie the Simple Press forum… The user role needs to be updated using the WordPress user role API, like I stated in the new post…

So if i had part of the forums for “premium” members, but it isn’t receiving that User123 is a premium member, they will not belong to that user set defined for “Premium” WP user role… because the WP role isn’t being updated via the WP api, or so I’m assuming. When it’s updated using the WP api, it’ll trigger in other plugins, and make this plugin much more valuable.

Excellent! These specified problems are fixed, now just for the user role updating. Thanks!

    Great, thank you very much!

Also, I’m not sure if it was implied, but would your fix also remedy my Simple Press issue where once a user logs in with “premium” access, that it would also be updated with Simple Press? I’m not asking you to fix SP, but I think it’s because the eMember plugin isn’t doing a proper notification… Because when i change the role manually in the WP Users tab, Simple Press does pick up the change.

    Thank you very much!!

I too am having this problem now… in Firebug it is saying “data.parent = node.parent Node” and the node is undefined. It is referencing jquery.blockui.js

    Thanks!

Problem with this is that once the account becomes expired or inactive, they still have access to the forums that are supposed to be for members only. This is because they can still log in using a wordpress login, and therefore can just bypass emember since its now the forum interacting with WP… Emember is only the initial “middleman” plugin.
