I currently use estore plug-in and affiliate software. My wife now would like to add your membership plug-in and a forum. Do you recommend one that works best with your products. Our site is http://www.tinaferguson.com
Thank you so much.

Update: More detailed discussion on BBPress plugin and eMember here:

March 30, 2010 at 2:57 pm #18138kettlewellMemberTo any one that’s interested:
I’ve been able to integrate eMember with SimplePressForums
Thanks to Amins upgrade of allowing new members to be added to any wordpress role.
I use a capability manger to create a role for free, silver, premium, etc
and then in SimplePress forum, I set the role of the forum/group
and in eMember, I set the users role based on what membership they are joining.
That’s brief, but I think you get the gist.

What if I told you that I would give you another eMember update as a reward that has a few little nice features? LOL

July 15, 2010 at 9:44 pm #18141kimjcastleberryMemberI have eMember integrating with bbPress “sorta”. What I mean by that is that when a member joins as free or above, their default WP membership level is set to subscriber. Then install BBPress. Then install BBPress Integration for WP. Now in BBPress under WP Integration, set WP Subscriber = BBPress Member. Voila. Joining members are auto-magically part of the forum.
That said… while WP and BBPress both take “Role Manager”, there is no integration occuring there yet, so I can not pass off a personally created user-roll across this kind of share. I’m in need of doing that, so I’m still looking for a workaround, but for basic membership it works well.

November 2, 2010 at 11:43 am #18145aim365MemberI would also like to use SimplePress. The only problem i have is i had no set emember to create a WP user account at the same time. So a couple of questions
1. Can i create the WP Users now in any simple way with the emembers already created.
2. Can i restrict anyone from registering as a wpress user unless they are registered with emember?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

2. Yes, from your WordPress settings you can restrict the registration of new users using the default WordPress registration form. Use eMember to control the user creation.
